I've been trying to contact someone on collarspece, but every time I try to send it I get a pop-up that says "an approved profile is needed to send a message." So, my question is, what is necessary to get a profile "approved." I never had this issue with my old profile (which I'd had for years and it suddenly, mysteriously got deleted), nor did I ever have it when the site was collarme.com.

thanx - matt

It's still doing it. Did anyone else ever have this problem?

It's a site problem. One of many, and not likely to be fixed any time soon.

I am not sure there is such a thing as an approved profile - or somewhere you can block non approved profiles...anyone?

Matt . . . . send me $500 in a plain, brown envelope and I will work on the problem for you. No guarantees, I fear, but I'll do my dangest best for you.
I have a temporary postal box at San Quentin at the moment but the warden promised to sort my mail.

Failing that, you could try to set up your own Profile as per the instructions on the sign in page.

I HAVE set up my own profile. It's extensive and my interests have been filled out as well.

I hate to say this but desFIP may be correct: it is a site problem. There have been many site problems of late unfortunately. Here's what you might try . .

1. Send a message to me and see if you receive the same pop up message. I will let you know if your message is received, and/or

2. Sign out of your current profile (don't cancel it) and create an entirely new one. New name, new zip code, new password. Then send a second message to me AND/OR send a message to your original desire and see if you get the same pop up. Keep the new profile VERY simple. Ignore all the "interests" boxes.

If the pop up persists it is a site problem and I fear you are out of luck.

But, good luck.

You will have to ask the OP. I received nothing.

I found a crazy-ass way around it, really by accident. When I'm using Chrome and I'm logged in I get the window. But if I keep Chrome going and then boot up Firefox, for some reasonI'm already logged in on Firefox (even though I never actually logged in on Firefox). It will allow me to send (and receive) messages on Firefox.

However, if I quite Chrome, I will no longer be logged in on Firefox, and if I try to log in on Firefox, it say the user name was not recognized.

That's how freakin' weird it is. I have to be logged in on Chrome so that I can send a message on Firefox.

Things have changed....dude...think about it...in 1957...did you worry about a stop light or a left hand turn signal change ticket in your little burg?

(No).

In 1973?

(I think not).

Well, your little burg has changed now...hasn't it?

So has this website......

So...you go through me.

I only need a CC.....and...a monthly charge and....

VOILA!!!

YOU'RE APPROVED!!!

PM me...we'll get this squared away abruptly.

Just astonished that you found that route, Dr. Livingston. Wow, let's move along and see if we can find the headwaters of the Nile. Good luck, Mattt !!!

Support problems often involved Chrome issues. Probably different browsers on different devices updates and patches not playing well together on an old site self-programmed by the owner almost 15 years ago.

It's not a glitch, it's just a new procedure that was adopted to control all the Bot created profiles that were proliferating here recently. Approval doesn't take long and then access will be normal.

No issues with Chrome - as for the bot thing is something I dont know about - but here is hoping.

that aside I am a little puzzled but if chrome doesn't work for you but Firefox does then problem solved kinda

other than that you can delte your account properly and readd it after you have cleaned out the cache cookies etc - from you browser and pc and do it properly - look it up on line
Chrome
firefox
PC

Your not signing on with VPN or tor are you?

Yes, but the problem is that Chrome works on a different profile. When I found I was not logged in on on Firefox (I had never logged out) I tried to log in. I have my profile name and password written down. But when I tried to log back in, it said my user name was not found. So I created a new profile on Chrome with a different name and password. Then, when I booted up Firefox, with Chrome still open, suddenly my old profile was there. On Firefox. However, if I quit Chrome, suddenly I'm not logged into my old profile on Firefox and if I try to log in it says the user name was not found. It's just weird.

So chromes works on this profile?

And firefox, which you never logged out of on here, does not work - well whats your username for the Firefox one and simply search for that username under Chrome

And make sure you spell it correctly as I can assure I completely forgot my wickedsdesires account here from years ago- and yet sporadically I actually log into it in robotic fashion error 1-2 times a year. Both usernames and passwords are marginally different. Easy done. And you can accidentally update your passwords on both browsers to the wrong passwords per site

But all that aside what you describe makes no sense to me still

step 1. From your chrome profile browser search for your old username and it finds it or not?
step 2 from your chrome profile send yourself an email eg chrome to chrome same profile works for me
