Trump executive order aims to allow Arctic drilling Donald Trump has signed 28 April 2017 an executive order aimed at reducing restrictions on oil drilling in the Arctic and Atlantic in order to "unleash American energy". The US president said it would create "thousands and thousands" of jobs, despite a downturn in the oil market. It could undo a ban put in place by Barack Obama in order to protect swathes of the ocean from development. But Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke said the decision was better than being held hostage by "foreign entities". It is debatable how much income might be generated by a reversal of Mr Obama's order. Worldwide prices for oil have dropped in recent years, with a review by news agency Reuters finding the amount of money oil companies spent in the central Gulf of Mexico's annual lease sale dropped by more than 75% between 2012 and 2017. He seems to have gotten a little bit pissy with CBS this morning.. Donald Trump Won’t Give Up Unsupported Claim That Barack Obama Wiretapped Him After bringing up the claim unprompted, CBS asked Trump to elaborate. Instead, the president angrily ended the interview. President Donald Trump is refusing to let go of his unsupported claim that former President Barack Obama ordered wiretapping on Trump Tower, despite multiple intelligence agencies and congressional investigations finding no evidence of any such activity. Trump revived the claim — again with no evidence — during an Oval Office interview with CBS’ John Dickerson that aired Monday. When asked to defend the claim, he ended the interview and walked back to his desk. Dickerson asked Trump if Obama had given him advice. “He was very nice to me, but after that, we’ve had some difficulties. So it doesn’t matter. You know, words are less important to me than deeds, and you saw what happened with surveillance,” Trump said in response. Dickerson pressed the president on whether he still stood by the wiretapping claim. Trump wouldn’t say, but claimed “our side has been proven very strongly.” “You can figure that out yourself,” he said. “I don’t stand by anything. You can take it the way you want. I think our side has been proven very strongly, and everybody has been talking about it.” Dickerson repeatedly asked Trump to elaborate, but to no avail. “I just wanted to find out. You’re the president of the United States. You said he was sick and bad,” Dickerson said, referring to Trump’s tweets on his allegation against Obama. “I want to know your opinion.” “I gave you my opinion,” Trump said. After several more refusals to answer, Trump dismissed Dickerson and ended the interview, angrily walking back to his desk. “OK, it’s enough. Thank you. Thank you very much,” the president said. Sorry, but Trump isn't wrong on this one. Cheap Canadian timber and Canadian support to artificially lower their domestic milk prices and raise imports are long-standing trade issues, and recently flared up when Canada raised that to 20% tariff on imports. Border milk-producing states are abruptly without a major market, and are literally dumping milk daily they can no longer sell. And, taking a stand against cheap Canadian timber is going to raise construction prices significantly. Or sell out American lumber companies. This is just the latest chapter in a decades long dispute on both goods.

I didn't know Jackson was orange, fucked twelve year olds, conned people into doing unpaid labour, couldn't make money running a casino, went through a succession of steadily younger trophy wives Marilyn Manson fashion, and had to stick the tax payers with a bill for spending a weekend on his own golf course because there aren't enough other people using it to keep it open.
