[Reuters] May 1, 2017 WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department issued a travel alert for Europe on Monday, saying U.S. citizens should be aware of a continued threat of terrorist attacks throughout the continent. In the alert, the State Department cited recent incidents in France, Russia, Sweden and the United Kingdom and said Islamic State and al Qaeda "have the ability to plan and execute terrorist attacks in Europe."

If they don't associate Islam with Terrorism soon, and deal with Islam The Religion on this issue. This will continue. I have come the conclusion that, it will take one big balls muthafucker politician to stand up and call Islam out for this problem! Because end of the day, whole countries are Islam. Quite a few of them out there. And it is 1.6billion folks involve in this religion. Diplomacy calls that, we need to continue to pretend that Islam is a Peaceful Religion to not get into war with all these Muslim countries. The way of the world is just shitty!

Of course, it's still much more likely to get murdered in the US than in Europe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate But in the US you get murdered by non terrorists. Just normal nice people or law abidding citizens who happen to be having a bad day.

Your ability to strut your opinions around from a position of profound ignorance is astounding, really. I applaud your willingness to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Religious zealotry as a whole has a history of violence and cruelty. It's a side effect of telling one group of people they're better than another group because God says so. Now, most people, Muslims included, are perfectly capable of hearing this for their entire lives and just living happily snug in their beliefs. Some people are not, and we find ourselves with Jonestowns, Crusades, and 9/11s. The same thing happens when you tell a group they're better than others because their skin is a different color, or because they're raised in one country and you're raised in another. Our little brains can't fully wrap around the concept of 7 billion individual wants and motivations, so we lump everyone into convenient groups of us and them. Please stop. Stop letting only the worst of the worst form your opinion of 1.6 billion people. Stop ignoring the good being done by Muslims in favor of fearing the bad. Stop ignoring the political and societal pressures that are helping drive violence just because you find it easier to fear the religion, instead. Or at least stop talking.
