WickedsDesire -> The UK won't pay a 100bn-euro (£84bn) "divorce bill" to leave the EU (5/3/2017 10:16:11 AM)

The UK won't pay a 100bn-euro (£84bn) "divorce bill" to leave the EU, Brexit Secretary David Davis has said, as the two sides clashed over the issue.

He told ITV's Good Morning Britain the UK would pay what was legally due, in line with its rights and obligations, but "not just what the EU wants".

guffaws

Theresa May accuses EU of trying to affect UK election

Let’s overlook the fact I explained why this "snap" election was really called - and that is true you know.

But by her own lying words - calling this snap election she is trying to affect the outcome of the “divorce” and is therefore hypocritical- because the smae people voted in both elections and she is tying to flood her side with feeble yes plebs or troy scum aspect.

That aside – it will be a fuking blood bath that BBC website is getting a bit biased towards tory scum bags and "Jeremy no hoper the unelectable"

So the UK - sick to death of the self-interested bureaucrats in the EU telling them what to do - tells the EU it's going to pay them what they're owed, not what the EU wants them to pay.

Is anyone remotely surprised by this? It's one of the founding reasons for the success of Brexit in the first place.

I'm not surprised at all by it.
Just like the pensioner that confronted that crackpot Tim Fallon - we knew exactly what we voted for.

But you have to forgive WD because -
A) he's Scottish;
B) a loony tune;
C) pro-EU;
D) anti-tory;
E) believes his own lies;
F) needs to take his meds again.

Brexit: UK and EU at odds over size of 'divorce bill'

Learn the difference between:
1. Handsome Scottish Jackal - every single region in Scotland voted to remain
2. Ugly English jackal - Londoners voted to remain too - heh how are those bank/financial sector jobs looking - how many are jumping ship guffaws

I see you do not understand - but a narrow minded bigoted attempt I suppose at least you tried :) But you are correct the UK will (legally) pay them exactly what they are due - but look ive no idea how much that is but its £50 billion anyway – which is one pension pot fund the tory scum bags thieved from the post office pension fund and whapped that onto the deficit balance – never to be confused with national debt

Not only did they sell the post office whats it now a first class stamp 100 quid? But they took the £50 billion pension pot and spend it immediately on their own deficit (policies)

London has a very high proportion of foreigners - only 45% of the population is white and British. And yes, the City did gain from Britain's membership of the EU, at the expense of everyone else, so you might want to ask why so many Scots voted for something which predominantly benefited the rich and the foreigners. It seems pretty fucking counter-intuitive.

Wrong again WD: The people Sturgeon forgot: The Scottish areas that voted FOR Brexit by up to 81 PER CENT
NICOLA Sturgeon could be accused of ignoring her own people while spouting her Brexit-bashing rhetoric after new figures reveal some areas of Scotland voted to leave the European Union by as much as 81 per cent.
Source: The Express
And here: The figures from Chris Hanretty, one of Britain's leading election analysts, show the Remain campaign did not secure a clean sweep of voters north of the Border after all.
Dr Hanretty, a reader in politics at the University of East Anglia, has calculated the Leave vote share in every Westminster constituency in the country.
His research shows that a majority of people in Banff and Buchan voted to quit the EU, with 54 per cent choosing to take back control from Brussels.

Wrong again WD.
According to The Standard: The other five boroughs were taken by Leave, who secured 1.5million votes in the capital.

Not according to some analysts.
Some say we don't owe the EU one brass farthing.
The £50 billion tag is also in question too.

Don't you follow the news??

What a plonker!!
Keep taking the tablets - they might work one day.

The post office was losing money hand-over-fist.
But I do agree, it wasn't a nice thing to do.

Just wondering: who told you fellows your side the channel that Brexit will be for free?

Certainly nobody from the continent (btw neither EU not EFTA) ...

Johnson and Farage, obvs. (The unfunny comedy team who were never off the telly a year or two back.)
Amusingly, this morning's council election resultss suggest that the latter's pigeons have come home to roost...

WickedsDesire -> RE: The UK won't pay a 100bn-euro (£84bn) "divorce bill" to leave the EU (5/5/2017 6:27:54 AM)

You truly are a simple man. Look at the pretty picture and explain to me which region got >50% of the leave vote in Scotland? Let alone your crackpot 81% you gleaned from the shit-express (which actually said this Despite every one of Scotland’s 32 official voting areas voting to Remain in the EU, analysis of the votes reveals pockets of Leave voting heartlands). next you will be telling be there were not similar "pockets" in England to remain-in all opt out regions - strange the shit Express makes no mention of that.

The data undermines Nicola Sturgeon’s attempts to keep Scotland in the EU and argument to hold a second independence referendum.

In the Banff and Buchan area of north Aberdeenshire, a cluster of six wards had a Leave majority of 61 per cent, according to new data gathered by the BBC

Plundering a £50 billion pension fund and sticking it onto the the "deficit" (and debt) was "not a nice thing to do"

Royal Mail was worth £10bn, said JP Morgan. It sold for £6bn less. So they undervalued it (heh do they have a track record on this kinda stuff?)

A more intelligent man such as I, your better, postulates they sold it off just to get their grubby thieving tory scum paws on the $50 Billion pension fund.....How much do you think that will cost the Public for the next 50 years?

I do believe the house of geriatrics are on record saying the UK needs pay the EU jackals fuk all. But whats to stop Scotland saying the exact same thing when we divorce jackal land?

Which bit did you find absurd?

Not only did they sell the post office whats it now a first class stamp 100 quid? - this bit? hyperbole humour. But you tell us all how much the cost of a first class stamp has went up since the privatisation and pension pot raid?
oh fuk it i will look it up myself two tics. The cost has more than doubled hasnt it in 3-4 years?

Pills can i have some because a couple of you dullards keep harping on about pills - I will tide myself over just now and meander to the back garden to lick some shrooms - you are clearly off your head with blithering idiocy, brazen incompetence. What shrooms do you recommend so I can magically see things your way?

Oh NO - certainly not.

- Why not ship him somewhere like ... how about the Pitcairns? Are these still British?

Or why not appointing him Lord Governor of South Georgia (with residency). What's the benefit of what's left of the Empire if you don't find a place for dumping that one in all due pomp and glory?

He'd have to pass the civil service exams before they sent him off to govern a backwater somewhere: do you think the drooling piece of shit could manage that? They have to give him one of those special soft PCs that special needs kids can't break to write his column for the Express...

Never been on South Georgia Island but I think he could manage that one provided he has to occupy the governor's palace there - and keep a lookout for Argentinian navy vessels

I think you need to be employed by the civil service before they'll give you a job like that.

I hope for the best and prepare for the worst: the last few years have made it clear that most situations involving Farrage will tend towards the latter rather than the former.
