*shrug*

He's a private citizen now. He can do as he pleases.

yep
Just as he is entitled to donate 2 million dollars for chicago summer jobs program.

Tax write off on that $64 million he is being paid to write a book that will sell a few thousand copies. Probably a good friend runs the organization and Obama is paying off markers.

does that make you moist?

Outrageous – it’s not as if the lying orange fuk been on the record & telly trying to interfere, with his lying fukery, with BREXIT-leave Europe, and he has said absolutely nothing about the French election I am absolutely positive of that. Whatever next – next you will accuse him of greeting away like the wee bitch that it is to the Russians about trying to find Hillary 20 000 emails and that would be a preposterous. And and(your right there is fuking more too much to type) next you will be telling he tried to take out an advert with CNN where he accused there reporters and other mainstream media of being fake news –I am only hypothesing this as the adv campaign only had the words fake blootered over those reporters and he surely meant something else for that would be an insane thing for any sitting premier to do let alone say it to their faces and on camera 100s of times. Next you will be telling me the mad orange fuk is a pathological liar and has lied on camera 1000s of times to his own people and the world

well I suggest you find the law against it in france and the US laws, and whine to them.
sounds like butthurt to me.

How can I be ButtHurt over who is gonna be French President? Although I am rooting for LePen.

And I'm actually hoping this inappropriate Obama interference will backfire on Macron.

Lucylastic -> RE: Is it appropriate for Obama to Openly do an Ad to Plead with France to Vote for Macron? (5/5/2017 10:30:31 PM)

No, but you really dont like Obama...LOL butthurt over Obama. that all.

Haha, okay if this is considered "butthurt".

End of the day! I don't draw any difference whether it is x-President or current President, because a President will always be referred to as a President right? President Obama will ALWAYS maintain his title President Obama.

So if my own government did Media Press Release to tell another country how they should vote, I would be upset at my own leaders too. Because that is absolutely wrong! But Asian Leaders will be the last who would do anything like that.

Lucylastic -> RE: Is it appropriate for Obama to Openly do an Ad to Plead with France to Vote for Macron? (5/5/2017 10:43:52 PM)

I think they(the french) should be more worried about this.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-election-macron-leaks-idUSKBN1812AZ
Leading French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron's campaign said on Friday it had been the target of a "massive" computer hack that dumped its campaign emails online 1-1/2 days before voters choose between the centrist and his far-right rival, Marine Le Pen.

Macron, who is seen as the frontrunner in an election billed as the most important in France in decades, extended his lead over Le Pen in polls on Friday.

As much as 9 gigabytes of data were posted on a profile called EMLEAKS to Pastebin, a site that allows anonymous document sharing. It was not immediately clear who was responsible for posting the data or if any of it was genuine.

In a statement, Macron's political movement En Marche! (Onwards!) confirmed that it had been hacked.

"The En Marche! Movement has been the victim of a massive and co-ordinated hack this evening which has given rise to the diffusion on social media of various internal information," the statement said.

An interior ministry official declined to comment, citing French rules that forbid any commentary liable to influence an election, which took effect at midnight on Friday (2200 GMT).

The presidential election commission said in statement that it would hold a meeting later on Saturday after Macron's campaign informed it about the hack and publishing of the data.

But thats just my opinion.

Termyn8or -> RE: Is it appropriate for Obama to Openly do an Ad to Plead with France to Vote for Macron? (5/5/2017 11:43:50 PM)

What's in those emails ? Meeting dates for bribes ? Drug deals ? Kiddie sex deals ?

Does France require their politicians to follow the laws they pass ? I know the us doesn't but that is France. They might be different.

In my opinion, with few exceptions, every damn ting they do while holding office should be a matter of pubic record, in every country.

T^T

Actually, Brexit is because Britain wanted it. You got your local Trump there, selling a convincing case for Brexit.

Trump never appeal to British people to choose Brexit ever.

It's France. Not the US. This means the Government already demanded that No Media Shall Publish any of the leaks! And anyway, it's cooling day, so no Media is suppose to publish anything relating to the Election anyway!

The only way is if people spread through Twitter and Facebook and stuffs.

Uh, you know if Putin would have come out of his closet and said out loud, "even I am not such communist, vote for Il Douchovitch", there would not have been the blink of an eye.

People express opinions, and it is fine to do so. Garbagemen work for the government, have an opinion and may express them, as do ex-presidents.

Dont worry, the reps are already trying to stop his pension.
but not for the french election.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4477228/Congress-plans-cancel-Obama-s-government-pension.html

Well of course, only repubs get to do that stuff. Then the dems finally caught on:

But measure with cash, and other names, like Trump, Blair and Reagan, rise to the top. Their fame, charisma and rock-star appeal has enabled them to pull in more than $250,000 per speech, and propelled them to the top of our list of the most expensive speeches.

An examination of the highest speaking fees ever paid puts Donald Trump on top with the staggering $1.5 million the Learning Annex paid him for each speech he delivered at the company’s real estate “wealth expos” in 2006 and 2007, more than was earned from addresses by former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

As for politicking, seems it's ok for the Israeli pres. to come over and address congress for his own direct political advantage...so all bets are off now.

But oh no...Obama can't do that shit.

Do you really think the French people care about ANY American politician?

Do you really think the opinions of American politicians about France really matter?

Do you really think American politicians are that important?

I'm not convinced that comparing Netanyahoo's intervention in US domestic politics and Obama's intervention in French politics is a fair comparison.

The Israelis have bought the US Congress & Senate many times over to the extent that the US Congress & Senate looks, sounds and acts like a branch of the Likud party when it comes to ME affairs. There is no suggestion that Obama has bought anyone or anything in French politics.
