However, despite your gross misinterpretation (so gross a misinterpretation that it suggests you haven't the foggiest idea what the author is trying to say) I hasten to add that the squirrels of this world must sleep a little easier at nights knowing that they have your good self valiantly and gallantly looking out for their interests. Your selfless diligence on the squirrels' behalf certainly deserves some reward - a bag of nuts sounds most appropriate wouldn't you agree? So go on and treat yourself - you deserve it!
