If there is serious concerns for the ops welfare are police able to pull up info such as address from the IP etc?

I agree nobody should have to find the body of someone they love.

Folks,

The OP has already taken on a new screen name. She's been watching people for their reactions. She never intended to commit suicide. She faked the whole thing.

From what I've seen, "Sophia" is alive and well.

You're giving me too much credit in one area and not enough in another.

So, none of y'all were observant enough to notice a 'new' screen name that was in the rafters of this thread no less than FOUR TIMES yesterday? On again, off again.. FOUR separate times?

It's not that I'm super observant or anything. I just happened to notice as I was cleaning my house on and off yesterday. Either I have the best luck in the world, it's a coincidence of the highest flipping degree, or it's just a case of the OP starting up a bright, shinny new screen name.

How much coincidence are you willing to buy into?

While I greatly appreciate your misplaced faith in me and some supposed IT capabilities that you seem to think I have, I can assure you that's not correct. I'm probably the biggest computer twit on the entire board. Thankfully, other people are smarter than me.

Edited to add: You do realize that some of the changes to TOS, the help page and such were because of me, right?

Either someone is dealing with a dead carcass or someone remains a victim determined to journey in mediocrity while holding hands with misery. Not a lot of happy in either case.

Is she? Her wife died less than two years ago, her life and thinking are unstable. Whether she's grieving or trolling or genuinely suicidal- what she isn't is a healthy relationship waiting to happen.

Sooo, No, I'm not volunteering to be her girlfriend.
I have my K, and she might not appreciate it if I did.

Yes because i PM'd her (not this go-round on this thread but on a previous one before this). I asked her about her psychological care and shared with her some information in that regard. She didn't want to talk about how to help herself. She wanted to talk about finding a girlfriend for herself.

They never were. Blaming the world for the position you find yourself in and never showing even an inkling of desire for working towards changing your own situation for over a decade aren't the kind of attractive personality traits a potential partner might be looking for.

More fluff, a well experience fluffer I'll give you that. Don't piss on my boots and tell me its raining! I know other members were concerned about her safety whether this was a hoax or not. That were pervin this thread and asked about her and none saw this mysterious profile in the rafters!

Edited to add: I'm sure since your stalker incident you would appreciate someone sharing your info.

Her posts reflect the same, not wanting help, rationalizing, etc.

Sadly, she has probably pushed away or exhausted the people who tried and is very likely to end up homeless and alone.
Or, an awful and traumatic experience for whomever finds her after a successful suicide.

Allow me to assure you, that last part is incorrect. If it were to be my position to do so, I could name a certain long-standing poster who checked in on the thread the same day.

Look here, sweetheart. If you, sincerely, want to try victim shaming me about the stalking thing, you might want to bring a bigger brick. You're not going to knock me down, gaslight me, tell me my opinion isn't worth a sh^t, or any other thing. I saw what I saw.

While I'm taking the time out of my day to educate you, this same tactic was used by my stalker. It's EXACTLY why I see the emotional manipulation as bullsh^t. I don't suppose you were around for that? I didn't see what I saw then, either.

Sit in your armchair, honey.
