the losers in our civil war. If you fly the flag of the loser that would seem prima fascia
evidence of one's sympathy with their cause would it not? Is it your position that slavery

Status: offline 		I felt horrible for her children. If you're going to protest or pick a fight, leave your kids somewhere safe.

Also, I never saw the flag she was so upset about.

The man should have just stayed inside and let her leave, but for all I know he was out on a cigarette break.

The man who called her names, shouldn't have done so in front of children. I'd have been more angry over someone using vulgarities in front of my kids, than I'd ever be over a flag.

Status: offline 		Actually, I think the employees reaction to a customer making vile accusations and throwing a tantrum was quite restrained. Pepper spray and handcuffing until the police arrived would have been a bit over the top.

Status: offline 		Actually I would have been more restrained. You are at work, and whatever you do in the office, shop or whatever, you do not use profanity around customers.

Tell you what else, in certain parts of the country that would be considered good publicity.

If symbols bothered me it would be the Israeli flag. The lives and money lost because of their non-existent claim on that piece of sand. That rag the Balfour Declaration came out of Europe, let Europe give the QME and three billion a year. And all the Palestinians they killed, and don't give me anything about what is going on today. some Palestinian shoots a bottle rocket over the wall and they go in and kill thousands. If you EVER want to discuss these vile conquerors with me, start with the kill ratio in the last about 15 years..

And the US flag should make people none too happy either, but you're stuck with it. It also represents near genocide. At least later we seem to have become almost human and allowed the Natives into our society if they wanted. And if you want to talk the Confederate flag let's first talk about where the Blacks would be right now if they had been left alone.

These symbols to not even mean what people think they mean.

And that broad in the OP, seems like they did something to her like in The Clockwork Orange.

She hurt the credibility of everyone like her.

If I were a store employee what would I say to her ?

"Ma'am, nobody else in the store seems to have a problem with it, why are acting like some sort of child over a stupid symbol ? They lost, they got punished severely, what more do you want ? What's more, slaver would have been abolished anyway because it hurt us, it took away our jobs, and left us saddled with a permanent underclass. (not that we don't have our own) If you don't want to shop here we can do without your business. Look at all the other people in this store. Do you see them leaving even, do you see them pitching a fit and making a scene in front of their kids,, looking like some sort of nut ? Well grow up and act like them".

And I would have left the flag up. Seriously, if you are a bigot and you don't want Blacks in your store it is a perfect way.
