Most of the people who voted for Trump wanted Trump, not Pence, not the GOP.
He was supposed to be something new.

Pence would be a relief, but it's not like he's charisma man. Trump has more charm than Pence does.
He's about as generic as generic gets. More generic than McCain or Romney were... people won't vote for that.

I will take Pence over Trump any day.

oh dude! there is no "fixing" it!!!! the corruption/lobbying by big business & control by the 1 percent is built into the system..you need to be rich & connected to the rich just to get into politics.. you would need a bloody revolution to totally get rid of your political system and replace it entirely.. All he has done is exchanged a few alligators from the swamp with his own loyal corrupt gaters.. and stupid voters & tax payers are being handed the bill..
