8 years ago, I was browsing the profiles on the other side and came across one that said little more than, "New in town, just looking to make friends." I sent him a message inviting him over for coffee. He showed up, had a great time until he moved to St. Louis. He came up for a visit this week! Enjoying spending time with my friend, ChefJimmi. Thanks Collarme/Collarspace.

That is so wonderful. You may not see each other often, but the friendship is still there. Love it.

He has! He did :) House still smells of truffles lol.

He's headed off to his summer job, cooking for the daughters of soccer moms who can spend thousands of dollars a week to send their girls away to soccer camp. It was a lovely visit. I forgot how awesome his hugs are. He even tossed out a random, "you could always stay at my house while I'm gone." Which was very sweet, all things considered. I do feel very lucky, to have met him and call him a friend.
