If he were black, you'd be calling it a lynching.

If he were black, the FBI director would not have been fired for getting too close and there would have long since been any number of congressional comm. investigating all of this.

tamaka seems disturbed by my concern for the history of racial injustice. Lacking any moral compass of her own and being ignorant of history she replies to any posting i make with a similarly inappropriate comment about race. It is puzzling, childish behavior.

Has it occured to you that your historical prism ignores everthing but race or at least puts everything else in the back seat.

Only when I am talking about a racial incident.

Nope. Try again.

Dont look at me Americans are fuking idiots and English jackals a close second, and I am all for burning both lands to the ground.

On a more serious note they needed a Special prosecutor, an untouchable (well less you are a 13 year old kid), from the very beginning. :(

Funny thing about all of this.

1) Trump asks Comey to stop the investigation in February.
2) Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said that he would not appoint an special prosecutor unless there was evidence of deliberate attempts to obstruct or stop the investigation.
3) Last week President Trump fires FBI director Comey, citing a memo from Deputy attorney general Rosenstein, listing among other things the mishandling of the Clinton email investigation.

Now if our esteemed President would have kept his mouth shut, things might have blown over and quieted down, but....

4) President Trump tells Lester Holt in an interview that he was going to fire Comey before he got the memo, and stated the Russian investigation was but one of the reasons, calling Comey a showboat and also that he was appointed by 'someone else.'

5) This week the Deputy Attorney General appoints a special prosecutor to investigate the various Russian connections to the Trump campaign and citing his earlier statement that he would not appoint a special prosecutor unless there was evidence that the investigation was being obstructed, basically admitted that the investigation was deliberately being obstructed....

6) President Trump refers to the appointment of a special prosecutor as proof of a witch hunt against him.

Now we have all heard his (Trump's) rants that the Russian thing was all a democrat party fake story to create problems for him...

However last year there was an interesting conversation between Republican congressman

quote:

McCarthy: The Russians hacked the DNC and got the opp research that they had on Trump.
McCarthy: laughs
[Crosstalk]
Ryan: The Russian’s hacked the DNC...
McHenry: ...to get oppo...
Ryan: ...on Trump and lik
e delivered it to...to who?
[Unintelligible]
McCarthy: There’s...there’s two people, I think, Putin pays: Rohrabacher and
Trump...[laughter]...swear to God.

Now due to some people who seem to believe that think does not actually mean an opinion or belief:

think
verb
verb: think; 3rd person present: thinks; past tense: thought; past participle: thought; gerund or present participle: thinking

1. have a particular opinion, belief, or idea about someone or something.
2. direct one's mind toward someone or something; use one's mind actively to form connected ideas.
synonyms: believe, be of the opinion, be of the view, be under the impression;

Well, where there is smoke, there is fire.

And of course, there are the memos and Comey's personal notes of President Trump requesting that he stop the investigation.

So, which of his aids, staffers etc is gonna start singing first?

1) Trump asks Comey to stop the investigation in February.

According to the failing far left fake news blog NYT whose bs anonymous source claimed they saw a memo that no one else knows about

According to Comey's sworn testimony, and according to the White House however, no such thing happened

quote:

“So if the attorney general or senior officials at the Department of Justice opposes a specific investigation, can they halt that FBI investigation?” asked Sen. Hirono of Comey during the question-and-answer period of his testimony.

“In theory, yes,” replied Comey.

Hirono pressed: “Has it happened?”

Comey said, “Not in my experience. Because it would be a big deal to tell the FBI to stop doing something that – without an appropriate purpose. I mean where oftentimes they give us opinions that we don’t see a case there and so you ought to stop investing resources in it. But I’m talking about a situation where we were told to stop something for a political reason. That would be a very big deal. It’s not happened in my experience.”

According to Comeys sworn testimony he was not asked; and did not answer that question as you have documented.

Your cartoon hysterical insane world is closing in on you.

Yeah, exactly.

Thing is, all he had to do was say "You know, I'm not getting into the establishment's political games -- I was elected to run the country, and that's what I'm going to do," and his base would love it.

Instead, he's doing everything possible to fan the flames.

99 parts ego, 1 part sense.

So, it is your allegation that Comey perjured himself before congress?

Except that between Trump himself and his staffers last week, the firing of Comey was first due to a justice department memo and then finally Trump admitted to Lester Holt on Sunday that he had already planned to fire Comey before the memo because of the Russia investigation, which was not part of the Justice department memo.

And flat out admitted he fired Comey over the Russian investigation because Comey was not 'his pick' and was 'picked by someone else.'

Which is why FBI directors are appointed for ten years.

Which makes his own statements earlier in the week and those of his staff, lies.

Kind of like the allegations of voter fraud which have proven to have been false, aka a lie.

Allegations that Obama had the British secret service wiretap his campaign and Trump Tower, which turned out to be false, aka lies.

Oh, and Trump praising Comey last October for reopening the Clinton email server investigation, then last week citing the same public statement as a reason to fire Comey.

Of course, Trump has dropped hints he has tapes of the conversations, so, if that is the case, Trump can produce the tapes proving that Comey lied about him asking that the investigation be dropped.

In fact, that would prove he did not give intel to the Russians without following procedure, and all the other stuff he has already denied he has said or done.

Funny thing I noticed about Donald Trump, even during his rants about the Birther conspiracy, AND his claims to have proof that Obama was not born in this country, he never at any point produced the proof to be verified.

Of course, leave it to you to pick the one thing that Trump has openly denied out of all the facts to use to dispute the events as they have happened.

I said it before, and I will say it again, every thing he has done in reference to the Russian election allegations screams cover up. Christ, it is more obvious than the stuff Nixon did to cover up Watergate or Clinton did to cover up the fact he was getting blow jobs in the oval office.

You blow all of this diarrhea out of your ass with never a credible cite, its stuff you make up or have heard on a fringe blog... And you expect others to either spend days looking up the real facts, or just give your stupidity any kind of meritless weight

I kinda doubt many here care about your endless mindless bloviating, judging by the way you are so routinely ignored so...

"Whatever, dude" as they say

WickedsDesire -> RE: SPECIAL PROSECUTOR APPOINTED (5/19/2017 11:45:43 AM)

I agree jeff

Ive also run through the top 5 again on an earlier thread and there sure seems to be a lot of Exxon and Russian money out there, and all 5, trump included, have tried to obscure, obstruct, investigations.

Now whats powers does this person, the 72 year olde bloke his name I forget, have, and how do they differ from a "special prosecutor"

Everything Jeff said has been abundantly available. For you to demand citations is fucking laughable. It is for you to find a citation to support any one thing you disagree with in his summary. Otherwise you are just trying to deflect the narrative we have all lived with this past month or so.
