I keep seeing the name Exxon appearing: Tillerson, Exxon, Russia

In 2012, Tillerson's compensation package was $40.5 million.[37] It was $28.1 million in 2013, $33.1 million in 2014, and $27.2 million in 2015.[38] In late 2016, Tillerson held $54 million of Exxon stock, and had a right to deferred stock worth approximately $180 million over the next 10 years.[39]

Again today with the Saudi $50-350 billion deal or whatever it was.

Am I missing someone from Ru hehehe I mean Trumps team - who was the lobbyist in Turkey?

Estimates are that a Trump's presidency was worth ~$1 Trillion to Exxon

Follow the money... Exxon is a rather big money bag in the world economy.

Ukraine conflict... Ukraine is one of the best routes to send a pipeline through to move Siberian oil to Europe. Exxon is a major investor in the pipeline.

Syria - Unstable political climate post Arab Spring interferes with oil exports from Iraq. Syria is the pipeline path to oil shipping in the Mediterranean and Exxon is a major investor.

Yeah, if oil is involved, Exxon will have a slice of the pie.
