It never is when males are the victims. It's always tragic when women are. Even manspreading makes it to mainstream news because anything women cry about, regardless how ridiculous, gets given consideration.

bullying is an equal opportunity ugly. Kids of both sexes commit suicide because of bullying.

But its interesting you had to use the "The fat positively feminists" to make your point.
its rich coming from a bully suddenly feeling like a victim? and wanting attention? victim attention
poor widdle Nick.
The victim who shouts allah is a cunt at a group of women and runs away.
Never posts anything but anti muslim, anti feminist crap, every fucking post

Agreed.

I might have went for this thing and wanted to explore it. My major hang up with the article was that the survey asked the parents. Not the kids.

Maybe it's because I'm older and my female off-spring was wayyyyy different than my male off-spring. Might be because I know just how vicious teenage girls can be because of the *way*they bully. When a male teenager finds a target to bully? Yep, their friends will stand behind them as a sign of muscle.

Teenage girls? They are more insidious. They incorporate every friend they have in it.

I am dealing with this very topic right now. My son is a high school freshman. He gets along with most other kids but he has no close friends. The sad thing is that, instead of going away, fat/body shaming has become an equal opportunity thing. When I was growing up, it was always the "go to" insult for a girl to another girl and, because of the perception, more girls worried about weight. Now, it is both genders and boys are just as sensitive to it as girls. My son is a big kid-he is 6'1 and 15 yrs old and he is heavy. He has my family genes. Other boys go after him. I have seen the texts from an ex friend of his. The one truly accepted stereotyping, bullying is being heavy. You don't get away with racial insults or making comments about gender or sexuality but, most people feel like it is your fault that you are overweight and therefore, kind of have to accept that you will be harassed for it, so no one stops it.
