More praise in Middle East: Egyptian president says Trump ‘capable of doing impossible’

President Trump is continuing to defy his detractors at home by wooing more world leaders in the Middle East.

During a Sunday meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Sisi told the American president that he is “capable of doing the impossible.”

“Mr. President, let me express our appreciation and respect,” Sisi said through a translator.

“Let me say that you have a unique personality that is capable of doing the impossible.”

Trump laughed and replied, “That’s very interesting…I agree.”

CNN White House reporter Jeremy Diamond characterized the meeting between the two as “a buddy comedy routine.”

Meanwhile, on Monday, Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Reuven Rivlin.

lol. words are not actions. We supply arms to Egypt, they used to be our number one buyer, but now with the new arms deal made with the people responsible for 9/11, they are number two. I would say we are going to be able to wreak havoc in the ME for some time to come.

Trump tells Israel Iran will never have nuclear weapons or were they talking about him producing his tax returns?

Ironically Obama was harder on Saudi, and rightly so - I always thought the Republicans would be harder than the Democrats - who knew eh!

He suggested the Iranians thought they could "do what they want" since negotiating a nuclear deal with world powers in 2015. They actually havent broken that deal, but they will now start to say the will/might thanks to the great satan Iran wishes to rejoin the world stage as they have been sanctioned to fukery over the last few decades after their American puppet, I forget his name, was over thrown.

All he has accomplished thus far is pitting Sunnis and Shia: Islam's ancient schism

oh and pocketing ~ $1 Trillion of Saudi cash x the next decade or so and arming them up

Third world leaders everywhere are lining up for their chance to exploit the fact that the most powerful country on Earth is being led by a braindead moron who knows less about world affairs than everyone on this board. He will cozy up to them because they stroke his ego and slip him little envelopes under the table-- something they can all relate to very well.

Eventually they will find out that nobody actually respects him and he's essentially powerless, but in the meantime, it never hurts to try.
Especially since he will sell weapons and technology to anyone who wants them without hesitation.

I actually knew an ENTJ with a similar deluded mind. I cannot call him an ENTJ as he lack the brains

I am never sure what to call him in say 2-6 words
deluded
lying fuk
autocratic - is he

Delusions of grandeur and an attention whore- feasts on all on enable it- And the Saudis did that magnificently.

fragile little egomaniac isnt he

Isn't the Egyptian president an evil jihadist moslem with a license from the koran to lie to infidels?
Do you not remember all of that noise when it was a president you didn't like brown-nosing the Arabs?
You might have the memory of a goldfish, but thinking that nobody else will remember your regular screeching tantrums about all moslems being for the jihad is a bit optimistic.

heavyblinker -> RE: Egyptian president says Trump 'capable of doing impossible'... (5/22/2017 11:32:43 AM)

Not to mention they are Sunnis, AKA: the people that Trump just sold weapons technology to.
He is going to receive praise because he is taking their side in the war... and doing so with a vengeance.

Politesub53 -> RE: Egyptian president says Trump 'capable of doing impossible'... (5/22/2017 11:42:13 AM)

Trump is playing to the crowd making Iran the current scapegoat. The Saudis armed Bin Laden. The Saudis and the Gulf States sponsored AQ and their associates throughout the Muslim World.

Trump cant grasp the fact Iran has elected a moderate President and not a hardliner.

And here he (Trump) is, kowtowing to Sunni Arab leaders despite all his statements on all of Islam. The man is an imbecile.

The dopes on the right just lap it up, again and again.

First there is no way in hell ANYONE is going to broker a lasting peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians, because there is no way in hell those two groups will ever agree on anything.

Secondly, as long as the Egyptian government does little in the way of protecting their own Christian citizens (and any Islamic citizens that protest the current regime) the US and the UN are still going to be playing hard ball with that country.

Third, until someone finds a religiously based logical solution to the thousand year old feud between the Sunni and Shiite (not to mention the Sufi and other smaller Islamic Sects) the ISIS problem is not going to go away, it will just be reborn with a new name.

Fourth, short of the second coming of Christ, or a near extinction level asteroid impact, humans are going to keep finding reasons to kill each other be it political, religion, race, sexual orientation or just because someone farted during a sporting event because humans seem to enjoy killing other humans and we are damn fucking good at it.

I mean we took gun powder which was originally used in rockets to carry messages to the gods in China and turned it into a weapon, the same as we took the first rock tied to a stick and spear points originally used to kill animals to feed ourselves and once we got that down with some practice, we started using the same things on each other.

And IF we are ever contacted by an extraterrestrial intelligence, we will become one thing, cannon fodder for their wars, because that is the one things humans do better than anything else.

Hey, I am a cynical pessimistic old bastard with enough years watching our species to know one thing, peace is in the vocabulary but not in our nature.

Jeff is like the naysayers who preached that Columbus would fall off the edge. "You can't do it - it cannot be done."

You gotta somewhat agree with the part about Muslims and peace though, because of their cult teachings demanding and praising violence

Muslims have to be taught that just like leftists, theirs is a fantasy world that does not exist outside of their heads. And that can be accomplished

We have to stop coddling them though, and listening to morons like Obama who preach to us as well as to them that their violence is our fault

Communication is key, backed up by force. They only understand superior strength.

No, Jeff is like the realists who pointed out that Portugal had already discovered the New World, and kept it a state secret, well before Columbus.

Not to mention Leif Erikson.

Or that "Spain" at the time was a loose collection of small states, one of which was ruled by Ferdinand and Isabella, who were too backwards to understand that the ancient Greeks had know the world was round for centuries.

As always, your childish musings make no sense

First you guess that everyone was so advanced at the time that no one believed the world was flat

Then you guess that the people (including the King and Queen) were too backwards to understand

And none of it speaks to the actual points that were made. It is as if you argue nonsensically, to see your writings on the web page

Musicmystery -> RE: Egyptian president says Trump 'capable of doing impossible'... (5/23/2017 5:39:13 AM)

I don't doubt that it was beyond you.

That's just typical.

mnottertail -> RE: Egyptian president says Trump 'capable of doing impossible'... (5/23/2017 5:41:30 AM)

And you guess that ---- well something stupid and untrue, we know that.

The scandinavians never thought the world flat, for one example. The book Heimskringla, is named after the opening sentence. "The world's round is filled with many indentations". It was first written down around 1100 after hundreds of years of oral repetition.
