I CAN NOT stand having "more" than I need...like....clickers....there's one for each TV (comes with the tv) but, if you want 397 channels...you have to have a box...which requires another clicker.
Then...if you want 397 channels in ANOTHER room....(yep)..'nother clicker. So...I always got basic cable because....all I ever do is use it to fall asleep to.
As the cable company's have slowly eliminated all my channels (and I've refused to STILL order a box....or boxes)....I'm left with like....(literally) 23 channels.
I've decided that, except for news....all I need is "Little House on the Prairie". On a loop. That's it. No one dies.
There's no blood (except for an occasional goat)...the worst thing that ever happens is...Charles Ingalls has to repair someone's roof when he has a hernia/broken rib/his Mom died/his Dad died/one of his kids got horribly sick (but they always get well again...and there's always pie)/the grocer denied him (Charles) credit...but of course..is shamed later for doing so/he needs corn seed but can't pay for it (see previous regards grocer)/a previous "friend" comes to town (but we know better...he WAS a friend...but he's not...really)...anyway....the Ingalls family....and a news channel...is really all I need.
And that's all I need.
