ORIGINAL: heavyblinker Maybe the reason you think it's comical/drama/BS is because you don't understand subtle distinctions like 'central focus' vs. 'a focus', or 'target' vs. 'focus'. quote:
The Post has not been told that Kushner is a target — or the central focus — of the investigation, and he has not been accused of any wrongdoing. “Target” is a word that generally refers to someone who is the main suspect of investigators’ attention, though prosecutors can and do bring charges against people who are not marked with that distinction. If it's too confusing for you, the least you could do is stop pretending you get it. I never said I think it's comical/drama/BS. Nor do I actually think that. Therefore the premise of your entire post is invalid. Yes there is a subtle nuance. I suppose, in the process of an investigation targeting person x, a focus for a period of time could be on person y. The article does a poor job of explaining this nuance, if that is what indeed is meant. Definitely not too confusing for me, thank you. I am guessing your snark was meant for boscox! LOL
