I don't entertain long-term cyber. I usually meet new people (of any type) at clubs, fetish fairs or munches. So much nicer to be able to put a name to a face quickly [:)]

I agree, meeting people, especially at munches is a good idea. So far my longest continuous part time submissive came through a referral he got at a munch. He was told about me, the munch host emailed me to ask if he could give out my email address to the sub. He is a sweet boy who sees me about once a week.

If I may ... As the resident skeptic (and part time sarcastic *sshole) of this board, I'd like to comment on plzteaseme's post ...

His profile says he's a switch ... his syntactical ineptitude says he's not very literate ... and the journal attached to his profile says he likes to masturbate - often while sniffing his room mates panties. I'm thinking his question was a round about way of really asking where his best chances are of meeting a Domme. But to humor him ....

I've met all of my Dommes from sites such as this. After trading e-mails and then phone calls .... and when the ladies "psycho-alarms" didn't go off ... they agreed to meet me for coffee, lunch, etc. Only once did this meeting go from public to private the first time. Most of the time we find we're not compatible .. for whatever reasons ... and parted ways. I still e-mail some of these ladies from time to time. However .... the few other times were pure heaven! Plus ... I made some good friends at the same time. And if a friend can't flog you ... then really, who can?

I don't think he was asking in a roundabout way, I thought it was a fairly direct question. And whydoes it matter if he is a syntactically inept, chronically masturbating switch.

As to his question of where to be found, I agree that real time social settings like munches are a great placeto start. You not only have a chance to meet real ladies committed to the lifestyle, but you will also come away with lots of friends with similar interests.

I started out posting several profiles on diffrent bdsm sites. I was just curious about bdsm and wanted to find people with the same intrest. After a bit of chatting I decided that they were to wide spread and needed something more local so I started a yahoo group site.To get people in the area closer that started a real life group in the area called SWVAPEX. SO you can see things can really expand from what you orginaly started out doing. Anyhow from all this I would talk to people online and then take it to meeting offline. It takes time but stay honest and expect the same out of who you are chatting with and you will find the perfect match.

I'm technically a switch and god knows I've been 'Jill'in off" a lot lately. At least we are honest LOL.

How is one "technically" a switch? Although I can assume you're truthful when you stated what you did, (I have no reason to believe otherwise) the gyst of my reply to the original poster was that he was not honest in his question. Of course ... he's only made two posts since he joined CM.COM on 8 Dec and hasn't been online since 24 Dec. I'm thinking my assumption was correct.

I'm technically a switch because I bottomed for years. However, I do not bottom anymore, I only Top. Therefore, for technicalities sake, I identify as a switch.

That should clear things up.....hopefully.
