I will make my final decision on the Paris Accord next week!

Here's everything President Trump has said publicly about climate change (you really want to read some of that mental shit)

1. 2/6/09 Trump signs a letter calling for urgent climate action. As Grist reported earlier this year, Trump and three of his children signed a 2009 letter to President Barack Obama calling for a global climate deal. "We support your effort to ensure meaningful and effective measures to control climate change, an immediate challenge facing the United States and the world today," declared the letter, which was signed by dozens of business leaders and published as an ad in the New York Times. "If we fail to act now, it is scientifically irrefutable that there will be catastrophic and irreversible consequences for humanity and our planet."

2. 12/6/13 Trump declares global warming a "hoax." As an unusually powerful ice storm ripped through the southern part of the United States, Trump announced that climate change is a "hoax."

3. He's claimed it's a scam invented by the Chinese, and he's denied that he ever said that. He's promised to "cancel" the historic Paris climate agreement, and he's said he still has an "open mind" on the matter.

lets look at one of his team
This already appears to be the case with Michael Catanzaro, who until early this year worked as a lobbyist for a coal-burning electric utility and an oil and gas company, among other clients. He is now the top White House policy official overseeing the rollback of the same environmental protection rules he had lobbied against. So far this year, the Trump administration has not said if Mr. Catanzaro was given a waiver, as it was keeping them confidential.

Lets look at Trex Tillerson
In 2012, Tillerson's compensation package was $40.5 million.[37] It was $28.1 million in 2013, $33.1 million in 2014, and $27.2 million in 2015.[38] In late 2016, Tillerson held $54 million of Exxon stock, and had a right to deferred stock worth approximately $180 million over the next 10 years.[39]

On January 3, 2017, ExxonMobil announced they had reached an agreement with Tillerson "to sever all ties with the company to comply with conflict-of-interest requirements associated with his nomination as secretary of state.

Status: offline 		I am still not convinced it's real myself.

I feel like it's just natural earth cycle to heat up and then cool down again.

Is the accelerating of global warming seriously human created?

I just feel like, alot are just assumptions at this point base on warming accelerating at recent times.

But the non-believers camp have also show historical data that this is normal in a world climate cycle.

There is a big reason why "global warming" is now changed to "climate change".

Why even the ones who believe in it don't want to call it "global warming" anymore.

But I do support sustainable technologies. After all, oil is finite. I think we should explore every single possible different ways of producing energy to make things work. So we always have options when some things run out.

But things like battery operated cars, doesn't seem like a great solution too, as disposal of batteries later is also causing pollution and difficult to break down waste.

Status: offline 		I'm not sure 'flip-flop' is the right expression. To swap one belief for another, he'd need to have held the original belief in the first place. I just don't think Trump goes around 'holding beliefs' in the sense that most of use that phrase.

Status: offline 		2009 - Trump believes all the hype that Global Warming is the most pressing issue to save the world

2013 - Trump started hearing alternate views on Global Warming that makes him question if Global Warming is seriously proven, and being convinced by new evidence, he thinks it's a hoax now


I mean, every kid will be taught in school to not question if global warming is real, but it is just real.

It's like religion, then you start reading up the opposition argument on it, and then you realise, there are gaps.

Like in my Christian school, I was told as a child that without a doubt Jesus was a true historical figure, like proven by official history.

Later I learn that, that is not true. Jesus was not officially proven as a real person who has lived yet in like real history. Not in the way where we all know for sure Hitler existed.

You forgot to comment on two of his team I mentioned - what do you think motivates them?

And you forgot to read his time line and what he said and how he said it - then you must factor in why he said it. That reminds me when did trump first run?

I feel like something not 100% proven such as global warming. It's just a possible theory for now on what's going on.

It's fair enough to change your views as you keep reading the all the arguments for and against.

I used to think as simply as, since NASA says 97% of scientist claims global warming is real, so it must be real.

Now I ask myself why only 97% and not 100%? There is uncertainty in the scientific community that it could not be real? I mean, usually with science, like the earth is round, is absolute.

There is physical evidence the earth is round. It's not debatable.

But there are still alot of debates about global warming whether is it naturally occuring or man made.

And even their "97% scientist" figures, how they derive to that number is kinda questionable and have been questioned.

Global warming is one of those theories that is constantly evolving.

For me, the more I read the opposition arguments. The more I couldn't find the answers to them in the proponent arguments for global warming.

So my stances is, I don't know if global warming is man made or is it naturally occuring and just a cycle and nothing to be alarm about. But I never see any harm in developing back up plans to replace oil, anything that is finite, needs alternative solutions and the earlier we develop them, the better. Don't wait till last minute when it runs out.

Those that claim the human carbon 'footprint' almost all of which ends up in the atmosphere, stand to make untold billion$ from this conspiracy well above the billion$ profited by the fossil fuel industry that doggedly promotes and keeps the world using carbon.....

The coal and oil industry are deeply and sincerely concerned by the effects of the carbon left by [its] burning and at the cost of billion$, are making every effort to contain any alleged damage to the carbon cycle,.....

If one thinks about it long enough and hard enough, has any theory...ever been actually proven ?

Wait, I think I know one...Pascal's theory (principle) of hydrostatics. The pressure exerted anywhere in a confined incompressible liquid is equally transmitted throughout the fluid. I mean if that hadn't, could we actually compress anything ?
