Guardian reporter Lisa O’Carroll is at Borough Market, where she says multiple stabbings have been reported: Witnesses said they saw two men stabbing people outside the well-known Roast restaurant in Borough market. A chef from the nearby Fish restaurant said: “I saw two guys with big knives downstairs outside Roast. They were stabbing people. The police were running away, they were community police. They were normal officers, they were running away. “The guy with the knife was killing two people. We were shouting ‘stop, stop’ and people threw chairs at them. Police came and shot straight away.” Another staff member from Fish said: “I saw two people in Breadhead bakery, they had blood on them, they were civilians. I never expected to see this happen here.” Neither wanted to give their names. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/live/2017/jun/03/london-bridge-closed-after-serious-police-incident-live?page=with:block-5933535ae4b0be3ed1922a68#block-5933535ae4b0be3ed1922a68 Please note the source Bosco advances for his claims. Yes it's the Guardian, that far leftist rag that Bosco has assured us on numerous occasions is nothing more than pure leftist propaganda with not a skerrig of credibility, a purveyor of false lies and 'fake news' that is not to be believed on any score. A source that Bosco dismisses pre-emptorily whenever anyone else uses it to promote a viewpoint that Bosco finds not to his liking. Yet suddenly all is changed and here we have Bosco approvingly citing the Guardian to support his post. Putting aside my surprise to see Bosco confessing to reading that 'scurrilous leftist rag', I for one am glad that he has finally seen the light and is at least reading quality journalism. That is an encouraging development because, as far as I know, this has never happened before, it is unprecedented for Bosco to approve of anything the Guardian publishes, or for him to encounter quality journalism. Now, if only he could absorb some of the facts that the Guardian publishes .... wouldn't the world be a better place? PS: I wonder if he realises that this now means that he can never pre-emptorily dismiss the Guardian's content from now on ...? That he can never dismiss it as a purveyor of 'fake news' and leftist lies? That he will have to take it seriously ...? The amount of time trolls like her spend relentlessly trying to tear me down over the tiniest little things make me feel like I must be the most interesting man in the world sometimes Stay thirsty my friend.
