Nup, I'm not getting into this one, either. I've said it countless times and I'm bored of bashing my head against a brick wall with it: There is always a mixture of political, economic, social and cultural causes behind the motivations of anybody to do anything, including carrying out terrorist acts. Religious belief is just one of them. It's a necessary condition to be a Muslim in order to become an Islamist terrorist, but it's not a sufficient condition. This is why only a tiny percentage of Muslims, or Christians, or Buddhists, or anybody else, commit such acts. Until the end of time itself, racists will radically misunderstand the nature of the problem; therefore, they'll never, ever come up with the right solution to it.

Just so much ignorant repetition of the same mindless "blah blah blah"

Muslims kill for one reason - their cult demands it, and preaches that it is very handsomely rewarded by Allah himself in the afterlife

You feel a need to make it more complicated than it is for your own "political, economic, social and cultural" causes and refuse to see the problem for what it is

You say tiny minority but that is a two part lie. One, large percentages of Muslims tell pollsters that they support what someone like you would call the "extreme" aspects of their cult, but what are in reality the basic teachings and two, as we see again and again it doesn't take many of them to wreak mass havoc and slaughter a large number of innocents

And they especially like to target children, because they are taught terror as their tactic

Tell us, did you really expect to learn that it was "Christians or Buddhists" who were responsible for this latest attack?

I do not want to take away your rights... or mine... but I do want sensible regulation... we need to make gun owners more responsible around children and in keeping their weapons secure... and if they don't... take their guns away. These guns do not magically appear in the hands of criminals...they come from people like you who are careless... in you I mean gun owners. We do not need assault weapons for personal defense... We do not need free access to guns without a mental evaluation... and we certainly don't need gun owners that have not taken a gun safety class on their particular weapon.

If the UK were to have the same gun laws as us they may stop a very few crimes... but their suicide rate... accidental gun deaths and outright gun crime will by far exceed terrorist attacks. No they are better off just like they are.

Look at you:
500 000 atomised at Dresden
Jews invented the death camps
No Jews died during the Jewish Holocaust

Do you have to smear your made up shit on every board?

since it apparently was not clear the first time, it seems thats not true

quote:

For the TLDR crowd, here are the top ten ways that Islamic law and tradition forbid terrorism (some of these points are reworked from previous postings):

1. Terrorism is above all murder. Murder is strictly forbidden in the Qur’an. Qur’an 6:151 says, “and do not kill a soul that God has made sacrosanct, save lawfully.” (i.e. murder is forbidden but the death penalty imposed by the state for a crime is permitted). 5:53 says, “… whoso kills a soul, unless it be for murder or for wreaking corruption in the land, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind; and he who saves a life, it shall be as if he had given life to all mankind.”

2. If the motive for terrorism is religious, it is impermissible in Islamic law. It is forbidden to attempt to impose Islam on other people. The Qur’an says, “There is no compulsion in religion. The right way has become distinct from error.” (-The Cow, 2:256). Note that this verse was revealed in Medina in 622 AD or after and was never abrogated by any other verse of the Quran. Islam’s holy book forbids coercing people into adopting any religion. They have to willingly choose it.

3. Islamic law forbids aggressive warfare. The Quran says, “But if the enemies incline towards peace, do you also incline towards peace. And trust in God! For He is the one who hears and knows all things.” (8:61) The Quran chapter “The Cow,” 2:190, says, “Fight in the way of God against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! God loveth not aggressors.”

4. In the Islamic law of war, not just any civil engineer can declare or launch a war. It is the prerogative of the duly constituted leader of the Muslim community that engages in the war. Nowadays that would be the president or prime minister of the state, as advised by the mufti or national jurisconsult.

5. The killing of innocent non-combatants is forbidden. [unlike the UK who bragged about theit holocaust in ww2] According to Sunni tradition, ‘Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, the first Caliph, gave these instructions to his armies: “I instruct you in ten matters: Do not kill women, children, the old, or the infirm; do not cut down fruit-bearing trees; do not destroy any town . . . ” (Malik’s Muwatta’, “Kitab al-Jihad.”)

6. Terrorism or hirabah is forbidden in Islamic law, which groups it with brigandage, highway robbery and extortion rackets– any illicit use of fear and coercion in public spaces for money or power. The principle of forbidding the spreading of terror in the land is based on the Qur’an (Surah al-Ma’ida 5:33–34). Prominent [pdf] Muslim legal scholar Sherman Jackson writes, “The Spanish Maliki jurist Ibn `Abd al-Barr (d. 464/ 1070)) defines the agent of hiraba as ‘Anyone who disturbs free passage in the streets and renders them unsafe to travel, striving to spread corruption in the land by taking money, killing people or violating what God has made it unlawful to violate is guilty of hirabah . . .”

7. Sneak attacks are forbidden. Muslim commanders must give the enemy fair warning that war is imminent. The Prophet Muhammad at one point gave 4 months notice.

8. The Prophet Muhammad counseled doing good to those who harm you and is said to have commanded, “Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well you will treat them well, and that if they do wrong you will do wrong to them. Instead, accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong (even) if they do evil.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

9. The Qur’an demands of believers that they exercise justice toward people even where they have reason to be angry with them: “And do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.”[5:8]

10. The Qur’an assures Christians and Jews of paradise if they believe and do good works, and commends Christians as the best friends of Muslims. I wrote elsewhere, “Dangerous falsehoods are being promulgated to the American public. The Quran does not preach violence against Christians.

Quran 5:69 says (Arberry): “Surely they that believe, and those of Jewry, and the Christians, and those Sabeaans, whoso believes in God and the Last Day, and works righteousness–their wage waits them with their Lord, and no fear shall be on them, neither shall they sorrow.”

In other words, the Quran promises Christians and Jews along with Muslims that if they have faith and works, they need have no fear in the afterlife. It is not saying that non-Muslims go to hell– quite the opposite.

When speaking of the 7th-century situation in the Muslim city-state of Medina, which was at war with pagan Mecca, the Quran notes that the polytheists and some Arabian Jewish tribes were opposed to Islam, but then goes on to say:

5:82. ” . . . and you will find the nearest in love to the believers [Muslims] those who say: ‘We are Christians.’ That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud.”

So the Quran not only does not urge Muslims to commit violence against Christians, it calls them “nearest in love” to the Muslims! The reason given is their piety, their ability to produce holy persons dedicated to God, and their lack of overweening pride.

so what are you talking about the filthy zionist brits and US war policy or the muslim religion?

a little cherry picking maybe forgot the other half of the story?

kdsub If I ever find out the B is a 100% troll it will not bode well for him. But i have noticed in the last week he is getting worse, progressively more extremist Now, some people accuse me of never giving the benefit of the doubt and yet I have to that one. Was i mistooken?

heh boscox

are you a troll in the pure sense?

That aside Whoremods

As I can do multiple edits for the allotted “1hour” (depends how much of my garbage each reader re-reads) I will do a new one

Do you think they will ever touch “Scotland”. The IRA and the Republicans always avoided Scotchlandshire.

I do not know anyone from London,or Manchester – overlooking they get many different nationals

To me their holy Grail is London, bettered only by New York

England wise its:
London and that’s it, but at a push its then
Birmingham (what am I missing here?)
Manchester

America
New York
Then any “Big” city
And they are long overdue :( when they are busy not shooting each other, running cars into themselves or bombing themselves to fukery

But does that change the end result? More children are injured or dying in St. Louis over the last few years with guns than the terrorist attacks in the UK... more guns are not the answer for the UK.. Hell more people are shot and killed in my city alone last years than ALL of the UK. For every one gun murder in the UK 160 are committed in the US. I am not trying to turn this into another gun thread but bringing up guns as a solution or reason or even comparison needed to be addressed as lunacy.

If you take away everyone's rights because of the way they act in the ghetto then the 85 pound woman becomes defenseless against the 250 pound rapist. The elderly couple out for a stroll become easy prey vs. the young drug addict who needs a fix

You wouldn't be stopping violence, you would just be rearranging it to the benefit of criminals

The right to bear arms was never an equaliser in the Vigilante towns of the West. Eventually they have to round up a posse to go after the bad guy. The same thing would be true in the inner-city ghetto. Every man for himself and self-defense has never worked. I defy you to show us an example of a town of Village of city where it has worked either in the present time or in the past.

Posse = Militia
One man against a mob bad, but without the right to ber arms the possy is unarmed, so yes it worked oit like it was supossed to.

Dresden's beloved of the holocaust deniers because they feel that by inflating the death toll from a wartime bombing and minimising the amount of noncombatants who were rounded up and executed by the reich, then the holocaust ceases to be a significant thing that anybody should pay any attention to. Hence, the more died in the bombing of Dresden, the less significant the final solution becomes.
pathetic, innit?

As for the other, I think the Republicans tended not to target Scotland as they were coming in tp cause trouble from Belfast to the Irish sea ports on the west coast of Scotland, and also felt that the Scots (at least the Celtic supporters)* were fellow catholics oppressed by English occupation.

*(I think Celtic are the catholic team and Rangers are the protestant ones? Might have that backwards...)

You don't want to take away gun rights.

A Assault weapons are already illegal, so I guess you want to ban guns that look like assault weapons.

B A few years ago 2 kids broke into a locked basement. inside the basement they broke into a loked room. Inside the room they broke into a locke gun cabneit. Then they shot people, so by your account their grandfather should be in jail because he was the victim of a crime.

C You want people to have to take a safety course for each of their guns, that gets rid of the rights of poor people. These courses arn't free, and they will become more expensive if manditory.

D A mental evaluation with someone whos pratice dies if he lets one person slip through.
Not only does this cost another Couple thousand (once again taking rights from poor people) but nobody will ever pass the evaluation.

This way you effectively destroy the right while pretending that all they have to do is meet impossible standards.

See DC the gun ban resulted in a doubling of crime, all of the increase with non firearms.
But you have to cut him some slack. St Louis is the exception to the rule. It is the one place in te country where the was an increase in crime even after the lossening of gun laws.
