I know that the topic of bad knees has been discussed before but only relating to a submissive kneeling and briefly mentioned in a rope play safety post. I was wondering if there were instances where you were ever turned down to play or be in a relationship with someone and why that reason was. Also are there any other poses, punishments or acts you could not perform due to injuries? All orientations are wanted for input on this topic.

I was wondering if there were instances where you were ever turned down to play or be in a relationship with someone and why that reason was

for a short time between the two serious bdsm relationships i've had, i attempted to pursue a relationship with a man i know who happens to also be a submissive. he is leaving in the fall and we were both on the rebound at the time, so it wasn't a good idea and he turned it down. i care for him very much and we are still friends, which borders a little on the more than friends side from time to time, and i wish we had had that chance to pursue a relationship, but things are best as they are :)

Also are there any other poses, punishments or acts you could not perform due to injuries?

i have a very difficult time kneeling or doing anything knee-wise as my joints are pretty bad, knee joints especially. also, my shoulder joints are very painful at times so i do have a difficult time holding my arms behind my head and other common positions. i am sure that due to my back problems there are probably some poses we just haven't touched on yet that i couldn't do.

i'm not quite sure what your focus is on this topic...are you trying to find out if both Doms and subs have been unable to do things due to injuries? i can say that our sexual play has changed over time and now happens less often due to His illnesses and general stress issues and things like that. or are you asking about differences in injury in various sexual orientations? it's not really clear in your post.

Last November when alandra and I were walking back to the house, I tripped and strained my ankle. It continued to give me problems up until March. In February, my Lord wanted to play me on a wobble board that he has, but chose not to because he didn't want to cause any more damage to my ankle. Instead he played denika on the board and did another play with me that had less risk in stressing my ankle.

Currently, our bed time ritual has been shortened because an old knee injury is flaring up and kneeling for any length of time is very painful.

My Lord likes to cause pain, but he will not do anything if he is concerned that it may cause harm.
