Well the ban of burka is seen on one hand as trying to control what women can or cannot wear. But the way I see it, Muslim women who wear burka some Muslim countries are not allowed to wear anything else but burka.
So when we ban the burka, we free them and give them an excuse to have the opportunity to wear something else other than burka when they visit here as tourist since it's illegal.
To me, it's about freedom. I mean conservative Muslim women are still free to wear fully covered in a different type of clothing.
