FLASHBACK: Robert Gates Said He Felt Pressured To Tell Obama He Would Be Loyal

Critics of President Trump say that asking a high ranking official like former FBI Director James Comey for loyalty is unprecedented for a U.S. president.

But Obama Defense Secretary Robert Gates told CBS News anchor John Dickerson last month he had a discussion about loyalty with Obama at the beginning of his first term, the Ace of Spades blog notes.

“In the reporting about the F.B.I. director, there was a report that the president asked him for his loyalty. Help people understand the line between duty, loyalty, and personal conscience,” Dickerson said.

Gates replied, “I think in the context of senior government positions, I think an anecdote of what I told President-Elect Obama when we had our first meeting. And I said, ‘You don’t know me. Can you trust me? Why do you think you can trust me?’ and so on. But at the end, I said, ‘You can count on me to be loyal to you. I will not leak. I will keep my disagreements with you private. And if I cannot be loyal, I’ll leave.’”

I've herd all about it. Some claim some pics were taken like at 6:00 AM. which would only show those who camped out overnight or got there in the wee hours. Actually it doesn't matter because he is el Presidente whether the liberals like it or not. Just a shame the democrats could not get their token witch i there. Too bad huh ? Yup, damn shame ain't it. Shit, Cuomo, to whom the Constitution is like kryptonite, could have beat Trump. Shit, they had three people who could have beat Trump. But noooo, you don't tell us who you want to vote for, WE TELL YOU. And then 90 fucking million of them stayed home most likely because they would not cast their vote for that autistic bitch in a million years. (well actually we don't really know if all of them would have voted Clinton, but either way, they did not)

And the world will survive Trump. And everyone who has a decent job will vote for him in 2020. And the liberals will scream bloody murder, find some other country to accuse of hacking because there is no way they could have lost AGAIN. And then after a few good cry-ins they will be out in force turning every internet forum into a liberal cesspool with every last thing any republican says, tweets or puts out in any way, while their democrat buddies continue to pick your pocket even worse than the republicans do.

I don't understand how anyone can think that the fact that Trump made the crowds such a huge issue is in any way a good sign.
Instead of realizing that it's a sign of how fucking pathetic he is, you debase yourselves by arguing his point and dreaming up media conspiracies.

This also helps to explain why Trump is president at all.
