Status: offline 		Unlike when the dems put forth Obamacare, all too typically, the repubs don't want you to know what they are up to.

Despite the lack of consensus within the party, Senator Mitch McConnell, the majority leader, on Wednesday began the process of fast-tracking the bill under Rule 14, which enables the Senate to bypass the committee process and instead move the bill on to the Senate calendar for a vote as soon as it is ready.

This will allow the legislation to move much as it did in the House swiftly and secretively. The Senate aims to vote by the end of the month, and will probably do so with no hearings. This stands in stark contrast to the process leading up to the passage of the Affordable Care Act, which included over 100 congressional hearings. That's when despite the bullshit you've been hearing since, repub amends. were allowed, offered...some of which were passed. It's called democracy.

Republicanism 101:

The A.H.C.A.’s fast-tracking is not driven by necessity, but rather by the concern that a more transparent legislative process would lay bare the reality that the bill, if passed, would cause millions of Americans to lose their health insurance and drive up costs for millions of others. It's called capitalist fascism.

.....not to mention devastate Medicaid and substantially defund Planned Parenthood.

If in 2018 the repubs do not pay a steep price for this, we are all fucked and not just if need be...dying younger.

Status: offline 		Well, of course no nutsucker can read, so when it was online for what about 6 months, no nutsucker could read it. it was passed in the daylight, it started in about july of 2009 and final passage in like March of 2010, and it was given opportunity for review and amendment, something this bill was not.

It aint gonna pass, but if it does it will be repealed in less than 3 years.

Just be honest for once about your fascist capitalist repubs on the hill, if this is what the people wanted, then why do they need to fast tract it at all ? Why aren't they publicly bragging about it as they almost always do when they fuck most of the people...most of the time.

Surely you can't be referring to me. I am an independent conservative but arguing the conservative ideology predominantly of our founders, not the current, rent-seeking, banker bought, sleazy, back-room dealing, demagogue-enabling, coporatists and all around capitalist fascists we see today in the repub party.

And rather obviously, the clandestine part is that nobody including the dems, (and many repubs) the press or the people, know what's really in this bill beyond a few big picture particulars of which was passed by the house. All of which is most prolifically exemplified by the fast-tracking of this bill so the above referenced voters and interested parties, cannot change it...let alone see it.
