As a total newbie to the lifestyle I was so fortunate to meet Mstrjx from collarme after interviewing quite a few doms. We talked online for hours before I was sure that I felt comfortable meeting Him because of His integrity and experience. This was in late April, and although I was planning to leave Georgia for New Mexico at the end of July, I was feeling submissive urges that I needed to explore. He gently guided me into finding my true slave nature and even took me into His own home to train 24/7 until I left for my new home, all the time preparing me for an eventual permanent owner of my own choosing. Thankfully I have now found my Master and am settling in New Mexico with Him, but I want to thank Mstrjx for the care and training He gave me that made this all possible and wish Him well as He seeks the girl of His dreams.

i mean no disrespect at all sapphire, but what did you mean by your comment: " .... all the time preparing me for an eventual permanent owner of my own choosing." As a 24/7 slave - i was under the impression that it the Dominant that chooses us! So, could you expand on that comment please?

Until a slave has agreed to be owned by a certain Dominant, an unknowned slave retains choice. Otherwise how would a slave weed out the predators and those who claim to be Masters but are anything but Masters. It seems to me to be a bit farfetched to believe that a slave goes with the first Dominant who claims that slave. Unless of course, we're dealing with a Gorean relationship. This is only an assumption since i know little of Gorean practices.

MichaelSlave, As a slave, the last real choice I make is who I serve. I am not merely waiting for someone to claim me, but am being courted and pursued by several wonderful dominants and getting to know each of them so that I can eventually move into a relationship that will lead to a collar. Obviously it is a mutual choice--when he offers his collar and I accept, then a choice will have been made.

daizy, I agree! And even in Gor (which I know something about but wish to have little more to do with because it's just not my gig), the kajira chooses whether to accept the collar, at least on this earth, (who knows wtf happens on the planet Gor?). If there are other Goreans out there who have a different view, feel free to chime in--my experience is limited (by choice). sp

Just last week, I finally met a wonderful Master who I've been getting to know since he added me to his favorites shortly after I joined CM in April. He's planning to return for a longer visit, probably in December, and if things go well, he plans to move here in the spring. Thanks for asking :) sp

Thankfully, I've totally distanced myself from anything Gorean and don't have to concern myself with those matters any longer. One taste was enough for me to know it's not for me. Occasionally I still get mail from Gorean Masters, and I just politely let them know that I'm not interested in that lifestyle in the least.

Gorean kajiras are actually not kajiras until they are owned. They are considered Free Women (or in BDSM terms Mistress') and hence have the free will to accept or deny a collar that is offered. But most of the time the Free Men (or Master's) don't offer a collar unless the girl has already asked for it. It is pretty unheard of that a respectable Master will offere before the girl ask. You are right that them must beg for it, mainly because this is to reinterate that they loose the choice to "just have" what they want. And sometimes to teach them that if they really want something they should beg...because it is pleasing. I am sure there are things you girls beg for. But there are no force collars on earth..and anyone who tells you different is lost in outer space. Hana ~Robert's little flower~

My Master introduced himself with these words upon our first meeting, and then the day he collared me in real time. I have been his slave now for two years and he is the one I serve with my entire being. His words have rung true in my thoughts, every moment that I am awake, as well as every moment that I sleep. I do not believe that I could sleep without him, somedays I do not believe I can breathe without him, but still his words touch me every moment of everyday even when he is not there to remind me. "As long as you are mine, you will do as I command, that is the rule. However, every minute of every day you have one choice, and that is whether or not you are mine." As on this earth we are still people, on this earth everyday we are given choices - many of them. He reminds me daily that I have made the choice to bear his collar around my neck and serve him, please him, and be his every moment of everyday - no matter if it is just a simple gesture, look or even just a word spoken from his lips. We as submissives, slaves, or whatever our title if even given or allowed one are always left with that one choice whether we want it or not. I wish at times that I personally did not have that choice left on me, as I believe others may feel as I do, that one choice can feel like a huge burden upon a slave's shoulders - More then any other choice that she might make in her life. drifter{MS}

One of the real confusions about the lifestyle centeres around relationship ambience and the right to choice. As a experienced Dom I do not take away a persons right to be who they are in truth. Unfortunately, truth constantly changes. A submissive can only truely be submissive to the right person. I know....that a vast majority of my submissives entered into new relationships that didnt last very long. Its perfectly understandable though, finding the right Master is a quest. And like all quest, the lesson is in the journey. There is no question some are going to get hurt. I have talked to some Doms about how they establish relationships with subs or slaves. And frankly, alot of them are very mean and downright manipulative. My heart is always with the slave. She is a loving extension of myself and as such is treated royally and with respect and utmost love. If she wants to leave and go do gorean or whatever, I assist her in everyway possible. Its all the more difficult when she chooses a Dom who is going to be too strict or out of balance with her. I can only talk to her of my concerns. Usually the Dom is not open to such. But in truth, as the current Dom, my responsibility is to protect, but also to let learn. As heartbreaking as it is, sometimes the journey filled with obstacles and unfortunate situations is the best for that person; afterall it is of their own choosing.
