Bosco, does it even connect in your brain that in the months since President Trump took office, every thing that he (and you for that matter) labeled "fake news" has turned out to be actual fact? He called the FBI investigation into Flynn fake news, and damned if it did not turn out to be fact. He labeled investigations into some of his staff having lied about working for Russia prior to and for a short time after joining his campaign as fake news, and it turned out that it was actually true, by the admission of the staffers in question. Name one thing that he called fake news that did not turn out to be the truth. His claim that there was proof that he Obama administration had his offices and apartment tapped in Trump towers turned out to be lies, and the wire tapped conversations in which he claimed his staffers were the target of the taps turned out instead to be the routine tapping of foreign government representatives, that came out in the Senate Intelligence committee hearing months ago. His claim that Obama had British tap his phones and apartment turned out to be lies, again confirmed by his own party members in the Senate Intelligence committee hearing. Your claim that his considering firing of the Special Council as fake news was blown when his staff (and high ranking members of the senate and house) have been working to talk him out of it for the last few days. Trump admitted himself that he asked if the Flynn investigation could be put on the back burner or stopped, basically proving that Comey told the truth from his (Comey's) perception, which in the allegation of obstruction or attempted obstruction of justice is all that needs to be proven. By even suggesting it, even in passing, was wrong for him to do so. Fox news anchors and reporters have commented on the fact that Comey's testimony damaged President Trump's credibility. At this point in his first term, he has two choices, both of which probably sticks in his throat. The first one is for him to shut his mouth, stop tweeting and let his staff run with the ball and do damage control (which is the primary job of any presidential staff) Or he could order Sessions and everyone that has discussed any and all parts of the investigation with him to speak openly and turn over any and all correspondence between their offices and his staff or himself. Personally, I do not think that he personally had anything to do with his staff talking to or accepting information on the campaign from the Russian government, however his actions are those of someone who discovered that someone was playing fast and loose with ethics and rules and he is trying to cover their asses. Because for a man who has nothing to hide, he sure as hell is acting like a man who has something to hide, and I would love to see a bunch of shit from the Obama administration opened up in both the house and senate (especially now where an impeachment motion is not needed.)
