Pride parade in London: Thousands join LGBT march

Tens of thousands of people have joined the Pride parade through central London.

The annual march, now in its 45th year, marks 50 years since homosexuality was decriminalised in England and Wales. (let me check haggis land In 1889, Scotland became the last jurisdiction in Europe to abolish the death penalty for same-sex sexual intercourse, which reduced the penalty to life imprisonment in a penitentiary.[7][8]

The United Kingdom Parliament voted to pass the Sexual Offences Act 1967 for the limited decriminalisation of homosexual acts in only England and Wales.[9] Homosexual activities were legalised in Scotland — on the same basis as that which was used for the 1967 Act — by Section 80 of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980.[10] Section 2A, the legislation that prevented the promotion of homosexuality, was repealed in Scotland within the first two years of the existence of the Scottish Parliament by the "Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000"

The colourful parade got underway at Portland Place and will soon pass through Oxford Circus and Regent Street, before ending in Whitehall.

A rainbow flag has been projected on to the Palace of Westminster for the first time in celebration of the event.

Fun Party.

I was told tonight by a pimp of gigolos that their gigolos service women and gay men. And their price can be as high as 300k per night. And the lowest price is $1000 per night. The pimp keeps 30% and the gigolo keeps 70%. How much their price is depends on the bid. These men gets paraded on stage and women and gay men start a bidding war to fuck them.

Women here favour tall men of Korean origin. Those are the ones that can earn 100k to 300k per fuck.

It's a great job! Prostitution is legal here by the way, so this is all legal.

I think men actually make more money by prostitution than women now as women become more affluent and willing to pay for sex.

He was saying because the women who can afford this can afford alot of plastic surgery so they usually look hot too, regardless of age.

I was thinking if a Caucasian dude could lower himself to do this job, he'd easily hit the 300k per night all the time as he would be unique. Ripped body needed of course and tall. Start at 20 yr old, Retire a multi-millionaire by 30 yr old.

They used to have those charity auctions at clubs over here over a decade ago - do they still have them?

We had our LGBT Pride event a few days ago here I think too. Pretty good turn out. 20k people. But the laws of our country is that, foreigners are not permitted to participate. Only Singaporeans. Because they consider this a political event, so foreigners are not permitted to participate in political events in Singapore.

So foreigners were holding their own Pride party at pubs and bars among themselves.

I personally think if an annual Mardi Gras party, held by LGBT people could happen annually over here in our city. I think it's good for tourism and just good fun.

I'm all for any parties.

There was a legal system up there in Scotland as far back as 1889?
