While Melania and Ivanks's presence brought some beauty and an air of elegance to the G20, the notion that the world's leaders were as seduced by their charms as Bosco appears to be is pure undiluted rubbish. The G20 has a far more serious agenda. Trump's antics before and at the G20, his woeful attempts to hijack the agenda and his pathetic contributions to the proceedings only brought himself and the US shame and derision on the world stage and in full view of a world audience.

the only question remains, is what is the difference between appointing a family member or someone who owes you their votes for some reason as is and alwasy has been SOP, aside thats its a little more in the open?

However, i do enjoy the personal and professional photos and direct comments i get from Ivanka in my FaceBook feed.

Sadly, you don't have anything like the civil service in the 'States. We don't even have a civil service like that* over here anymore, it was the first thing Blair destroyed as a threat to his authority in the late '90s.

*(capable of running the country regardless of which fuckwit has been voted into number 10 by working around them through local government and the socialised infrastructure of the country)

My feeling too. His main purpose seems to me to be to *Put On A Big Show*. Beyond that the man seems profoundly empty to me. But that's not much consolation: unfortunately, the same has been said of various despots in history.
