Brexit may never happen - Sir Vince Cable

Sir Vince Cable - the likely next Lib Dem leader - says he is "beginning to think Brexit may never happen".
He said "enormous" divisions in the Labour and the Tory parties and a "deteriorating" economy would make people think again.

"People will realise that we didn't vote to be poorer, and I think the whole question of continued membership will once again arise," he said.

He was speaking on the BBC's Andrew Marr show. etc etc

May has got to go and she will sooner, not later - but what then?

Then we'll have the spectacle of Boris Johnson (or even worse Jeremy Rhyming-Slang) as the conservative party leader.
Or maybe even they'll see it as a poison chalice at this point, and they'll try to find a safe seat in a by election Jeremy Clarkson or Kirsty Alsopp can stand for...

Christ I forgot Boris is the man who would be king - well Salmond went and do you I actually liked him. It was a strange election campaign in Scotland (England i didnt pay too much attention - but enough) as it was fought on two fronts.

But what a fuking mess UK

But that dim bint has to go and should have went on the day of the results.

I'll never forgive Salmond for the fact that Brown would have won the 2010 election if the SNP hadn't targeted the labour vote up here.

The days or labour relying on ~50 plus of our 59 seats - from the 650 MP seats in the UK to achieve power are long gone.

The Tory scum bag party split the vote well - in those particular seats its usually a three way fight SNP, Scum Party, Lib dems and they have 13-14 of those 59 seats. You could argue its Scotland's fault at the moment - but from a fair point of view the SNP has exactly the exact number of seats it should have from % vote.

Fuked if I know 62% of us wish to remain in the Europe and 45% of us wish to fuk of from the Union - its an odd fight.

Keeping my politics out of it - I remain uncertain a large swathe of our country knows what it is voting for - not to the extent of Englanders or those low brow idiots in America.

Apathy will always win, at the end of the day - To me voting should be compulsory.

And for the Record Gordon Brown (clever-competent enough man)- was Scottish & sounded too Scottish and that is enough to automatically lose a hefty wad of the English vote - shameful isnt it S my argument is the bigotry of the English cost labour in that particular election ;) you dont didn't see that? it transcends more than is he, or she likeable. May on the other hand is benign. Boris probably unlikable - but hes been cock blocked once it wont happen again.

I noticed. That's why we've had two minority conservative governments in power over the last decade.

And again: Broon was no more Scottish than Tony Blair. He lost the labour vote north of Hadrian's wall to the SNP, so it was the Scots who voted him out, not the English.

One day I will pay attention regarding which side of the border you lay and if that place is your place...if it is still about.

That aside best I check your errant waffle unless my failing memory betrays me.
The 2010 MP count

Labour 41
Liberal Democrat 11
SNP 6
Conservative 1

You are in error.
