GOSH stands for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

This is why I feel like it's absolutely evil and crazy for a Hospital to hold a baby hostage and go to court to fight the parents and prevent the parents from bringing their baby to other doctors or hospitals for treatment. Because they are so arrogant and so full of it, that they think they are the "experts" on brain damage on a condition they have zero experience in!

And them being so negative about experimental treatments. And rather kill the baby than allow it to try.

I believe in Experimental Treatments alot because I hear too many cases of recovery from experimental treatments that is still at experimental stage in my own country too when approved Chemotherapy failed!

That I know it takes gazillion years and lots of testing before a government can approve something for official use.

But when someone is already given like less than 50% chance to live. Experimental treatments is often the last resort! And some do recover!

What is GOSH excuses now? They are sooo annoying arrogant that they think they are freaking judge to take away a child's life away from his parents!

And man, I hope the Judge have a heart and give Charlie Gard a chance to try. And IF Charlie did get better. This GOSH better lose their medical license! For being WRONG and insisting on the murder of an innocent child. Anybody who is more interested in ending lives than saving lives should not be in the Medical Profession.

Just the idea that a hospital would go to court and fight for their right to murder this child is like what the fuck kind of hospital is that!

PS: The reason why Charlie is not dead is because like the miracle baby above, when they remove life support, he continued to fight to live and continued to live. Yet despite that, GOSH still wants him killed. Yea I just saw that oxygen therapy could reverse brain damage, so Charlie is all good now! He got alot of options!

As the second court fight, after that the hospital won the rights to kill the baby. They DID. And he didn't die! Thanks to baby living, gives the parents a chance to bring up this third court fight.

I feel like this is the most waste of time situation in the whole world. The hospital could have just allowed the parents to take the baby to another hospital for treatment. No drama. Even if the baby died, that's it, they tried everything. At least all the hospital and doctors did their best. Suggesting to kill the baby is not doing their best.

Damn hospital!

It doesn't matter Lucy, the FACT of the MATTER was that, both conditions were deemed by the Doctors "INCURABLE" and "HOPELESS".

And how do you explain the other baby? Who survived even after pulling out life support? The doctors were trying to kill that baby too. Well in that case, the parents agreed to it. So that was a mutually happy decision. But the baby survived.

And Charlie has survived after they took out his life support. He has every similar chance as the baby above to survive and be okay.

And end of the day, ANYBODY who supports the hospital. How can anybody support taking away the rights of a parents to want to support a defective child? Charlie Gard has birth defects. That's his only crime.

Of course it doesn't matter.

1) The baby was deemed hopeless case by Medical Experts, so he was put to death too.

There are only 16 cases of Charlie condition in this world. And one case has improved from the experimental treatments.

And doctors have been wrong before when they condemn babies to death, as seen in example above. Doctors aren't know all! When they can't cure an illness, it just means they don't know enough about it to cure it.

Hospitals have been known to do shit like this before. To force a Woman to have a C section she did not need. To force a kid with AIDS to take the treatment even though he only had the markers in his blood. One, a girl who was responding well to an unorthodox treatment for soe rare condition, they went to court and kept her and on regular treatment she was practically unable to walk, after skating and leading a normal life just weeks before.

I stay the hell out of hospitals. I hurt my back a couple weeks ago in a way that would send most people to the doctor for a 55 gallon drum of painkillers. Notice when I wasn't posting ? That was because I couldn't even sit in a chair. But as far as doctors go, I would rather go to a vet.

Know what a preludent is ? It is a powerful amphetamine coated with a powerful barbiturate. It was given to people the night before their competency hearing in mental hospitals. It makes them sleep, but then in the morning the are all hopped up on speed and look nuts to the judge. Just the existence of this drug proves their malevolence. It was used for heirs to gain control of assets.

Now hear this : YOU CAN'T TRUST ANYONE.

hospitals are licensed under the gubmint, when I was a kid no one would have dared even think about doing such a thing, but libs like you are changing the world for the better as we can see.

First of all, religion doesn't cut it. Courts have taken kids away because Parents refused a treatment based on religion.

Second of all, I totally disagree with you on this religious people thing. To me, being religious is like believing in fairy tales. The people who do, in my honest opinion, are intellectually inferior.

Well judging from the GOSH Lawyers Mean Comments most recently, it sounds like GOSH is determined to kill this baby at all cost! Poor Parents. And the judge is not sympathetic to their cause and sides the Hospital.

I think British parents need to consider carefully now that if their child have a life threatening condition.

They may never get their child back EVER after allowing it to admit into a UK hospital. I mean, this is intentional legal killing. I have no words! The price of "Free Medical Care". I will NEVER WANT the government paying for my medical Care if this gives them the right to kill my baby.

Fucking dangerous!

If supporting abortion means that Doctors have the right ABORT babies that are already born against the parent's wishes!

I am gonna move to the anti-abortion camp! Because the big picture is. Doctors should have ZERO authority to decide whether the child is too defect to live. They are there just to give their professional advice. Not to decide on the parent's behalf that the child deserves to die.

I am pro-abortion because I am pro-choice. How is this Hospital killing a baby that a mother wants to keep in line with being pro-choice? It's like the radical other end of people who wants to ban abortion. This doctor wants to ban the right of this child to live.

Many of my girlfriends have been forced to go C Sections because their Gyno claims to them that it would be life threatening for them to go through natural birth, claiming the baby is too big. And this usually happens like last minute, like after the water breaks.

I can't imagine how all the olden days women survive natural birthing, if like these days, every freaking Gyno around here is always saying it's life threatening and an ignorant patient wouldn't know but to obediently go with what the gyno says.

I think I would go against doctor's advice for C-Section and take it natural if I ever get a chance to go through it. And risk the so-called life risking thing. It's not saying the baby will die after all. It's saying the mother will die. It's like our fucking normal function to give birth natural. C section was like a later invented stuffs. I just don't get it.

"Great Ormond Street Hospital cares for many thousands of seriously unwell children every year, providing outstanding treatment for those who need it most.

Charlie Gard's case is a heart-breaking one. We fully understand that there is intense public interest, and that emotions run high.

We recognise the tireless advocacy of Charlie's loving parents and the natural sympathy people feel with his situation.

However, in recent weeks the GOSH community has been subjected to a shocking and disgraceful tide of hostility and disturbance. Staff have received abuse both in the street and online. Thousands of abusive messages have been sent to doctors and nurses whose life's work is to care for sick children. Many of these messages are menacing, including death threats. Families have been harassed and discomforted while visiting their children, and we have received complaints of unacceptable behaviour even within the hospital itself.

Whatever the strong emotions raised by this case, there can be no excuse for patients and families to have their privacy and peace disturbed as they deal with their own often very stressful situations or for dedicated doctors and nurses to suffer this kind of abuse.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is in close contact with the Metropolitan Police and we will do everything possible to hold to account anybody who involved in this kind of deplorable behaviour.”
