US Senate healthcare repeal bill fails The latest attempt to repeal the Obama-era healthcare act has failed after a dramatic night in the US Senate. At least three Republicans - John McCain, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski - voted against the bill, which needed a simple majority to pass. It was voted down by 51 votes to 49. The so-called "skinny" repeal, which would have scaled back some of the more controversial provisions, is the third attempt to repeal Obamacare. You Americans are a fuking atrocity unto mankind

So attempt to repeal Obamacare #65 or so has had precisely the same outcome as the previous 64 or so attempts. Is anyone surprised?? How clueless and incompetent are these people??? They have had about 6 years, and c65 chances to get it right, to learn from previous mistakes, to fix whatever needs fixing, to translate their election platform into legislation and get it through Congress, where they have the numbers in both Houses. They are manifestly unable to do so. They haven't got the wits to change a light bulb, let alone organise an efficient healthcare system or run a country. Bush II (aka Bush the Dumber) seems like a visionary political genius compared to Trump McConnell & Co. Has there ever been such a collection of bumbling incompetent cretins ~~running~~ in charge of the ship of state? It's commonly said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again expecting different results. If this is valid then Trump & Co are all barking mad.
