So Trump has taken the hatchet to another of his "trusted staff"

This will please the president's base. Priebus was widely seen as an establishment RINO swamp creature, and rumor has it that he is the source of the insider leaks that have slowed the agenda

General Kelly looks like a much better pick

If President Trump were an establishment elitist like all the other politicians at the taxpayer pig trough (Hillary etc) he would be much better at the politics, but that's a small price to pay for someone who finally puts the needs and will of the people first

By trying to bring in jobs. He just doesn't realize that there are less jobs now because of automation. As I have said before, one Man can do the work of ten, what happens to the other nine ?

There are no jobs to come back. And our education system is so fucked up they would have to retrain everyone they hire. No company wants to do that. It would take a total revamp of the education system and then it takes years to teach those students. We are talking a generation at best.

And it is the colleges too, I correspond with some electronics engineers and they do not even want to pay new grads anymore. They say while they might be able to design a new video game, they can't design a basic amplifier or filter, or a few other things.

Like with engines. We got three guys scratching their heads around a computer to find out what is wrong with it, my buddy walks up and feels the exhaust manifold and says "These two cylinders aren't firing". Sometimes I think people can't find their ass without a smartphone. Smarter than them I guess.

My partner runs a Jaguar Independent workshop. He always tells apprenticies not to use the Jaguar Diagnostic kit when they are faced with a problem but they should think about the issue and what could be causing it. Most will say they were taught to use the diagnostic kit as that is how you solve issues like misfires etc. So if that is what they are taught in college no wonder we cannot find a decent mechanic.

You know, I keep hearing that line from the Trumpies, but none of them can ever actually explain just how the fuck they are slowing the agenda.

What is slowing the agenda is Trump's utter fucking incompetence.

The president asked Priebus for his resignation, and then he accepted it.

Priebus on Resignation: Trump Wanted to Go in a Different Direction

Reince Priebus gave his first interview since resigning as White House Chief of Staff on Friday, saying President Donald Trump "wanted to go in a different direction."

Priebus resigned on Friday afternoon. He is set to be replaced with current Secretary of Homeland Security Gen. John Kelly.

Speaking with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Priebus had nothing but positive things to say about Trump, even though the President disagreed with the way Priebus steered the White House.

"Was he not happy with the direction you were setting?" Blitzer asked.

"He knows, I think, intuitively when things need to change," Priebus said.

He's a RINO swamp creature ?

After graduation from Whitewater, Priebus served as a clerk for the Wisconsin State Assembly Education Committee. He then enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida. While studying for his law degree, he worked as a clerk for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and interned at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund in California.

In 1998, he graduated with a J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Miami after serving as president of the law school student body. He moved back to Wisconsin and became a member of the state bar. Subsequently, he joined Wisconsin law firm Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, where he became a partner in 2006, practicing in the firm's litigation and corporate practice groups.

Spent his life in law, the courts and mostly the midwest. Too easy to say he was the leaker. I say he saw a reactionary ass as pres. and was outnumbered by the sycophants.

Trump Names Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly as New Chief of Staff
Kelly to replace former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus

A Wild Week in Washington

President Donald Trump replaced Chief of Staff Reince Priebus on Friday with Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general.

The shift at the top of the White House hierarchy is aimed at bringing order to an administration that has been beset by infighting, as Mr. Trump seeks to notch the sort of sweeping legislative victories that he promised during the campaign but that have eluded him to this point, advisers to the president said.

“John Kelly will do a fantastic job. Gen. Kelly has been a star, done an incredible job thus far, respected by everybody,” Mr. Trump told reporters Friday.

The president told Mr. Priebus two weeks ago he was planning to bring in a new staff chief, a senior administration official said. Mr. Kelly was offered the job earlier this week and immediately accepted, the senior official said.

Mr. Trump discussed bringing in Mr. Kelly with a small group of people, the senior official said. Part of the draw, the official said, was that he believes Mr. Kelly can provide effective leadership and has the respect of the West Wing, which is staffed with aides whose ideology falls across the political spectrum.

After Mr. Trump’s announcement, which came as Air Force One landed in Washington after a flight from New York, the president posted a tweet thanking Mr. Priebus “for his service and dedication to his country. We accomplished a lot together and I am proud of him!”
