Welcome to the site (even though i know you've been on CM for many months) and the forums.

My name is Michael. I am a(n almost) 42 year old, divorced, straight, male.

I am not and never really have been all that big a fan of BDSM. I will engage in some of that activity but, I am here for the D/s. That is how I live my life.

I practice a fairly extreme form of D/s. My favorite question is: "Who is being served?" "Extreme D/s", to me, isn't about punishment (necessarily) when there are transgressions. I identify more as a "Daddy Dom" (Yes, when I first heard the term, I thought it was age-play taken to a sick extreme but, it isn't.). I have two great articles - one, written by a "baby girl" and one, written by a "Daddy Dom" - that I think define those terms, wonderfully and I will share them with any that inquire.

I enjoy music (playing and listening to), sports (watching and playing football, baseball, and rugby), politics, trivia, chess, bar-b-que, movies, trips to nowhere, in particular (my youngest son and I, frequently, get into the car and just try to get "lost").

I speak several languages with some degree of proficiency. Because I was raised in NYC and in three immigrant cultures (Child of divorce with four sets of "grandparents"), languages come fairly easy to me.

I hope to interact with and maybe even meet a good many of you as I am an open book and enjoy fellowshipping in order to promote the lifestyle.

It sounds like you're very frustrated. It is a bit early to be wanting a drink. Though i'm sure there will be many nights/mornings when things here will make you want a drink.
