Well this is a concoction. This is politics & religion, so we have a political (or religious) issue and come here to attack one side (this case...the left) or the other of being most guilty of perpetrating the lack in understanding of the history. Slavery began probably 8000 BC or before. Only the observer can then decide whether the right or left wants you to know all of the truth. For example, I associate the capitalist (the right) with slavery because the more labor you can steal...the richer you'll get. Just as valid.
