Anyone buying any? What do you think about it?

It's time has past. I made a killing on it a few years back by getting into it early and amassing a shitload that I dumped for real cash when it took off. At the moment I don't have much of it left as it is simply too flaky and volatile.
Depending on which exchange rate you go by, I have somewhere around $300,000 to $350,000 worth that cost me about $80 when I bought it back in 2010 It is not going to stay at it's current levels ($3400-$3500 CAD) for long, so I am in the process of trying to convert most of it, and so make another major killing.

Basically it is a really shitty investment unless you got into it way back when.

Wait for it to crash, then buy some and hold it and follow the market closely, and dump it when it spikes again, like any other high risk speculative investment.

Yeah... that sounds like a plan.

It can be tricky to unload though, because it is a shitty investment especially at the current price.

~FR~

People's war on currency is generally based on (1) escaping "fiat money" (missing that all money is fiat), (2) fear of electronic funds (inescapable at this point), and (3) attempting to escape taxes by barter.

All are drops in the ocean.

Still... some people are getting rich off it and the black market has it's own currency.

If you want to get rich off the black market, sell cocaine.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Bitcoin/Bitcash (8/3/2017 4:06:42 PM)

no one wants fake guys portending they are women eh!

Musicmystery -> RE: Bitcoin/Bitcash (8/3/2017 4:14:11 PM)

Well, I'd have to be a fake woman pretending to be a guy.

So you can't even get that straight.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Bitcoin/Bitcash (8/3/2017 4:21:13 PM)

You are 99.9% of this place

WickedsDesire -> RE: Bitcoin/Bitcash (8/3/2017 4:24:00 PM)

Well it keeps going up, and I just unloaded 10, which got me $50,000, so a net profit of $49,999.20.

Don't you wish you were a commie like me? [:D]

I have a very nice retirement income (10 years now), investing in traditional ways. I think I'll stick with got me here.
