There are as many Brits and Aussie and Europeans and many other Nationality on Collarspace. If they start seeing topics relevant to their country, they may come in and attract newbies. It's about having the content available for viewing first, before you attract more new international crowd.

So we will just have to make do with what a millennial in Germany thinks and her views. For some strange reason for example, I have never met a German in Singapore who likes Merkel. They always telling me she is ruining Germany. But they are men, and older generation and more conservative.

I have a deeply-held, personal and political belief that (with very few exceptions) it is none of my business what people in other sovereign nations do. Obviously a nation like North Korea (right now) is a different story. So, that said, since these forums are dominated by Americans, I think you'd find a plethora of apathy, by-and-large. Michael

Pardon me - that's exactly the point: The German political spectrum is very unlike the US. But if you only use these two drawers where to sort everyone and everything in, everything looks the same, of course. Most political parties here would probably appear far left of everything you 'll find in the US, except certain neofascist groups. The voting system is very different and favours a multi-party structure and coalition governments. The liberal FDP is struggling for survival and has been voted out of almost any state and the federal parliament but has gained some followers again lately. The conservative CDU/CSU could only be compared to a a combination of US Democrats and Republicans put together. Social Democrats, Green and Left have no equivalent in US politics.
