Google has canceled the domain registration for The Daily Stormer, a company spokesperson confirmed Monday.

“We are cancelling Daily Stormer’s registration with Google Domains for violating our terms of service,” the spokesperson told Business Insider.

Google didn't want its services used to incite violence, a source close to Google told Business Insider. Daily Stormer registered its domain with Google at 7:51 a.m. Pacific. Google canceled the registration at 11:02 a.m. Pacific, the source said.

Daily Stormer moved its domain registration to Google after it was canceled by GoDaddy on Monday. The white supremacist site published a story that denigrated Heather Heyer, the 32-year-old woman killed when a car rammed into counter-protesters in Charlottesville, VA over the weekend. The story, which attacked Heyer for her physical appearance and referred to her using various offensive epithets, prompted GoDaddy to give Daily Stormer 24 hours to find a new host for its domain.

Zoho, a company that provides enterprise computing services for companies, also said it was dropping Daily Stormer in a statement on Twitter.

We believe that The Daily Stormer has violated Zoho’s Terms of Service, so its access to Zoho’s services has been terminated. (2/2)

So, out of curiosity after seeing this thread, I went to Google and typed "Daily Stormer" into the search box.
Without hesitation Google gave me a link for the site.
Guess where it is now being hosted... That's right, Cloudflare, the same hosting service used by this site.
Daily Stormer wasn't fully operational there yet, but when this site made the jump to Cloudflare it took a few days to begin working.
Overall if Google wasn't just pandering to the left, don't you think they would have blocked it in their search function too?

That's certainly possible.

It's possible that cloudflare might kick them out in another few days, too.

If google and cloudflare and at least 8-30 among 100 other scripts not associated with either of those two weren't on practically every web page we visit, how could the interwebs function at all?

I have a script blocker for narrowing it down, for educational and research purposes only, of course.

I just recognized the name(s) from my script blocker.

In any case, after Mr. "rapists and murderers!" got (not quite, but close enough) voted in, the floodgates have opened.

Any wise, I think it's instructive, even if not representative of the US as a whole, that a proven public pussy grabber who publicly expressed interest in "dating" his 13 yr. old daughter is taken as an exemplar of social conservatism by those who voted for him in direct response to the "rapists and murderers!" speeches.

Alive and well? Their public site is still down. They have a presence on the dark web, reachable only via the Tor browser, and that's likely where they'll stay for the time being.
