One of the reason despite being of a race that those Protesters may want dead.
Is that.
I don't believe in violence AT ALL. Not even at racist people. I mean if violence happened in SELF-DEFENSE, that is the only acceptable reason.
Crashing somebody's else party, pelting them with things, when you are not invited to it, IS NOT self defense.
A hate group lawfully applied a license legally and was approved to hold their rally to protest against a statue being removed.
The so-called "good guys" decided to use this as the perfect excuse to conduct their version of violence. Coming in, with pepper sprays, crow bars and throwing rocks to ruin their Rally, mess up their party.
Yet they were just being violent too. They were essentially behaving as bad as the bad guys, BUT with one cravat. They KNOW they will get away with their violence.
Because by default, Nazi and White Supremacists are the bad guys universally.
They essentially used this event to get violent without consequences.
There was one consequence. One of their own died in the process.
But they aren't owning up that their behaviour contributed to the death incident.
I seriously cannot see how any reasonable human being could honestly from the bottom of their heart say that this is 100% the Protesters fault.
This is NOT the way I want to deal with racist people. It's hostile and it's wrong! I don't approve of anything the Counter Protesters did! And this is not the way to convert a Racist into a non-Racist.
And all the Lefties who always accuse the Right of not treating Muslims with kindness thus inciting them to violence.
GUESS WHAT? They didn't treat those White Supremacist and Nazis with kindness and they got incited to violence!
Why can't they practice what they preach?
And to me, when the bad guys are protesting against a statue being removed.
The most peaceful thing the good guys can do is, leave them alone, let them do their protest.
And when it is over. Take down the statue.
That's it, the bad guys don't win. They don't get their statues.
Counter protesting was just excuse for violence.
