Last week Americans and people around the world learned that Donald Trump is morally unfit to be president of the United States.

Yes, very salutary, however:

A) So was Clinton
B) Whining about Trump doesn't address the real problem - the Democrats' corruption and lack of a candidate without ties to big money.

This constant whining about Trump is pathetic. The GOP runs the show until the Democrats can remember who their base is. The longer you idiots continue your parade of stupidity asserting that white men are the enemy, the longer the GOP is going to be in power.

I wonder though if some 'vast left wing' conspiracy would fund any civil suit against Trump brought by any woman from his past and at anytime like the civil suit brought against Clinton.

I don't think so as it is only the right that are fill time attackers. The right called Clinton a creep but he was just a womanizer. Trump is the single creepiest pres. we've had in the oval. But now the right is almost silent.

Hypocrites on every issue. In fact I'c predict that with the right's stacking of the federal bench that they would rule that no civil suit can be brought against a sitting pres. You know, one law for the left and another law...for the right.

And any freshman congressman who tries to actually change things either does not get re elected or forced to toe the party line.

Isn't that why Gore Vidal claimed he gave up on his political career?

James Buckley was elected senator for NY, one of the most conservative ever and as exemplified by the fact that Buckley was the first and last US senator elected from the Conservative party.

First meeting with all new Republican senators was chaired by John Tower. Tower said that their first responsibility was to be re-elected.

Buckley, unlike almost all republicans, being a conservative, decided then and there, he would not run...for another term.

.....and he didn't.

A bit more of a conservative than his brother then...

Personally, I give that title to LBJ considering his fascination with his own cock (which he named "Jumbo") and watching movies of animals mating.

LMAO, for a conspiracy theorist, didn't you see anything unusual about a bunch of women coming forward (all found to be full of shit) and law suits during the campaign? LMAO, or do you just see right wing conspiracies?

What a joke.

But unlike his brother Bill, he didn't become a raving, rent-seeking corporatist.

James was much more scholarly and obviously a lawyer. Ended up as an inactive Senior United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Is alive and well as can be at 94.

Well the gist of the righty problem, was all about Clinton's sexual predations. Clinton was a capitalist whore but those policies pleased the right...as you might expect.

And as you may or may not know, a dem womanizing creep in the white house is so much worse than even a worse repub womanizing creep and misogynist...in the white house.

If that were true the establishment would warmly embrace president Trump, rather than mount this silent coup

Nobody likes hypocrites-- most especially when they're embarrassing the entire country and putting everyone who understands the situation on edge.
And by 'everyone who understands the situation', I obviously do not mean you.

This weird need to see the establishment as part of a union of evil people and everyone who isn't part of the establishment as objectively good is part of why you are incapable of assessing the situation correctly.
RealOne is even worse as he has gone all the way to declaring Trump a true people's champion.

Trump isn't part of the establishment because he is incompetent and the establishment doesn't trust incompetence.
If it were a matter of him posing a threat to their power or whatever, they wouldn't have let him run in the first place.

They don't see him as a threat, they see him as someone who is too stupid to know what he's doing and can be easily manipulated whenever he isn't embarrassing them.
Nothing he actually says or does is causing them serious grief, because they know he will sign off on whatever they want or let someone else handle it while he goes to another rally.
The GOP will put up with it because they want to push through their disgusting vision for the future.

On the other hand, I am sure that they are all equally worried that he's going to start a war or launch some nukes because someone insulted his hair or something.
It's an uneasy alliance for sure... but nobody really believes Trump can, will or even knows how to 'drain the swamp'.

I'm pretty confident that the reason it doesn't make sense to you is because of your intellectual limitations, not because I'm a 'howler'.

Trump was as much a part of the democratic establishment such as there is one, for many years. He was part of the NY city legal, political and real estate establishment under dems and repubs.

Trump threw money at the dems (and maybe a few repubs) for the same reason all greedy capitalist scum do...for a return on his investment.

Now this insecure, babbling, ignorant asshole runs as a repub having stated on tape (since pilled) that the repub are so stupid, they'd vote for anybody.

Right on all counts and is in such a self-created, political and personal maelstrom that some on the right are finally seeing crazy.

Trump and his 'music-chair' cronies, now all live both on egg shells and a political bubble and it...better not burst.

Musicmystery -> RE: Trump has lost his grip on reality: Editorial (8/31/2017 5:57:11 PM)

I'm not sure I'd count that as "being part of."
