Given that the mod(s) is/are clearly too busy to remove pedophiles trolling for kids to abuse/nigerian scam artists/other from the front page or investigate their ticket list, are they just doing this to posters rather than banning them as an avoidance tactic? I'd be interested to hear from whoever they have modding this shambles as to why they think this approach is a good idea, and when the last time they actually approved an "awaiting approval" post so that people could read it: there's posts that have been waiting over a year in General Discussion, and frankly, if you can't be bothered vetting what posters under heavy manners say, you shouldn't be putting anybody on approval in the first place, should you? And that's without even getting into the partisan slant some have perceived in the last crop of posters put on approval, and the fact that absolutely fuck all has been done about the poster among said happy party who's gone through three sock puppets since he was so notbannedatall. (I can't name him, of course, because that would be breaking the TOS.)

no---"rules" made by moderators are not TOS. the TOS are here: http://www.collarspace.com/personals/tos.htm if there is a separate set of them for the forum, ive not seen them. I presume the ones in question most often for forum moderation are: quote: 7.3. Either address the point I raised in the OP (putting people on approval implies that there's enough mods to actually read and then approve what they're saying, and if there's not then it's avoiding responsibility for banning people) or stop wasting time by posting drivel.

Someone having forum moderation rights is very different from having website administrative abilities. Wading through the endless amounts of photo, profile and journal reports is time consuming and exhausting work. With a.dwindling membership base to draw from, I imagine finding volunteers willing to devote so much time to task isn't as easy as it was 10 years and how many volunteers later?

I find it amusing how wayward's first post towards me was based on how wrong I was to respond to the posts made about me in here. Then her second post denies that she has a problem with me making a post in this thread. Laughs. So she still tells me I'm entitled but beforehand she tells me I am wrong to do it. Flip flop.
