Status: offline 		Pretty cool of our government to send 4 Chinooks over to help with the rescue mission. We are insignificant and are tiny and useless but we try!



The four Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) CH-47 Chinook helicopters from its Peace Prairie detachment in Grand Prairie, Texas have arrived on site to assist in the US' Hurricane Harvey disaster relief operations, Singapore's Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) said on Thursday (Aug 31).

Just hope the Air Force has brought in some portable control towers to keep the hundreds of helicopters operating in the area out of each others' way.

The people rescued and who have supplies delivered won't think of you as insignificant or tiny.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I think our country have always been in somewhat good friendship with the US.

And I always feel like, US pours in alot of funds to help the rest of the world in trouble, but when they get hit by hardships like this in their home ground. Rarely do other Nations pour in to help them.

So it's nice that we were able to contribute something to help despite being tiny.
