Usually not both. Crazy is an organic illness. That means that parts of the brain are altered. In PTSD cases for example the amygdala (the site of fear and anxiety) is enlarged while the hippocampus (a major memory site and player in dementia) is shrunken. That would be an explanation for bizarre behavior. Crazy and stupid are different things.

Should the cops have had tazers? That was discussed and...the cops were found at fault on THAT subject.
They are SUPPOSED to have tasers at ALL TIMES.
(WITHOUT DEBATE....NO LESS THAN HAVING CAR KEYS...OR A BADGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
They claimed to have "left their tasers at the field office".
The truth is...this chic was FUUUUCKED UP. She had called in for assistance....THIRTY EIGHT TIMES in the last 60 days or so.
They came in calm.
They came in with guns holstered.
She's dead because....she came at them...lunging....with a 9" carving knife.
NOT because she did the same thing 2 weeks prior but...because she did it THAT DAY.
NOT because she's black.
Because...she ATTACKED two Police Officers with a FUCKING 9" CARVING knife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(It's THAT simple).
I have ENORMOUS compassion for this woman...her family....YES...she was sick...CLEARLY....HORRIBLY mentally ill but....she came after TWO POLICE OFFICERS with a DEADLY weapon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's dead because of her choices.
Whether she's black....single mother....unemployed....
She ATTACKED TWO CAPABLE POLICE OFFICERS....who came in to assist...and the audio more than clearly shows that.
She's now dead.

They certainly had enough warning, did they not? Don’t you think they should have come in with a plan, instead of just casually strolling in and talking about her converting to a wolf? Strikes me as grossly unprofessional, brain clogged, police work. Heaven forbid they should be alert enough to their assignment to maintain not only their own safety but the safety of the person they are visiting as well. The new information you just gave me makes the matter look a lot worse than I thought it was. With all that notice they failed to act. How outrageous is that?

This is just horrendous police work in dealing with the mentally ill. Fucking criminal police work by Officers Dumb and Dumber!

The issue is, the police didn't need to do or worry about anything. They and obviously the dept. and even after all of those calls, didn't need to be aware of or the slightest bit concerned about, her situation or her mental health,
[They] didn't need to concern themselves with anything but shoot to kill if you 'feel you are in danger.' You see, that's much easier and straight forward training...shoot first and ask questions later. How many hours and college degrees does that take ?

Spot on, Rodgers. Our friend here seems to think that the police should not be aware of the circumstances into which they are walking. More fun that way! Dumb, dumber, and dumbest.
Now you are putting words in my mouth that are not supported by anything that I said. Show me were I said that the police should not be aware of the situation.
And if you want to play by the same rules you expect of me you have to show where I said those exact words.
I didn’t say you said anything, old sport. I said you seem to think something. Your thinking I inferred from your stance regarding this particular incident. You said she had reason and she was crazy and stupid. Well if the cops knew this, that she was mentally ill, then they should have approached her in a different fashion, don’t you think? And let me tell you this: God gives out free will except to the mentally ill. When your brain is locked up he takes it back. So there is no matter of choice here. She did not choose to attack those cops of her own free will. I hope you will start to understand that one day soon.
So you can infer that I believe things that I don't say but if someone infers that you believe something you don't say they are being unreasonable.
That sounds as if you think you play by one set of rules and anyone you don't agree with plays by a different set. Note you can't complain because I
didn't claim that, you just live it.
