I realise there is something Trump and I have in common.

Even when we mean it in the best way possible and with the best intentions. Because of my direct forthright manner of expressing myself, it gets taken and twisted in the worst and most negative interpretation possible by most normal people.

Of course I meet a few people who understand what I am saying totally, like my BFF and a few friends here and there. But most would not get it and are offended by it because of the way I phrase things.

For example, when he wanted a country with borders. His intention was to keep law and order and also make sure that only the best out of Mexico comes into America. Not just any Mexican or Mexican criminals. His intentions was good and really for the benefit of his country.

But the whole world interpreted it as he is a racist who does not want any Mexican in America.

It's like that.

Twilight World. He means well, but the whole world thinks his intention are bad.

He gave up his salary. He didn't have to. But it was another gesture of his to show that he just want to serve.

And in Texas disaster, he was very sincere in wanting to handle it as well as possible and not fuck that up.

I believe whatever Trump does, like Obama, like Bush, they believed it was for the best of the country. Just that, their idea of "What's best" may not be other people's idea of what's best.

Because it's totally different philosophy.

I must say OP. You are a classic example of the mentality of his supporters.

I actually somewhat agree with you. However, in my opinion, I believe it's imperative that the person who represents us on the world stage be able to communicate well, with diplomacy and tact. That was my biggest fear during the elections. Not "What will he do?" but "He's going to represent the U.S???"

So poor communication skills are supposed to be an asset now? Being unable to open your mouth to speak without putting your foot in it is a good thing?

heres the thing with you and your comrades---everyone on the right is a raaaaaaaaaaaaacist. and everyone who understands or looks at things differently from you is "stupid."

your assessment is effectively meaningless---unless, as I suspect, its designed to give you a little quick pick-me-up for your supposed intellectual and moral superiority, in which case, its also embarrassing and pathetic.

Sounds like just a repub, who say '[they] are not like...you and me.' I have consistently seen those on the right, go after the messenger, the source, the effort being and for 40 years, is...to impugn opponents character, question their patriotism...denigrate and demonize and they make money putting it in print and writing books about their shameful partisan prejudices.

I bet even Reagan didn't know, he started a whole new industry...professional, political, hypocritical, partisan liars.

Few people actually believe what you write here using the same sweeping generalities the right has used for decades.

Nobody is all one way...or the other. But the right continually tries to claim that and then denigrate the whole community of who they think are wrong, even as the repubs and the right much more acts monolithically on so many issues.

I do think that good policy gets lost in it all, not bowing to the easy temptation to denigrate...I don't do it to whole groups like so many on the right here. (except 1 very powerful group...greedy capitalist scum)

Yes, the Clintons may be corrupt but actually, they just ride the wave of the American culture...making some fucking money here.

You could put the Bush family right up there with them and actually have made as much or money in power politics as any one.

However, by comparison, the Clintons are relatively small players in the real world of corruption in both politics and business.

Yes and they are too stupid to stop doing the very things that they did to get Trump elected. Even when they are told straight forwardly about it. So they keep digging their own graves.... it would be comical if it wasn't so totally pathetic.

Maybe you vote for a president out of spite, but grown ups tend to latch onto actual issues.

that's surely true, but even apart from that, what I wrote is the comrades' default position.
