Daca: Trump 'fairly close' to deal with Democrats on Dreamers
Trumps dealing on DACA sparks confusion, shifting alliances on Capitol Hill
US President Donald Trump has said he is "fairly close" to a deal with top Democrats to protect young undocumented migrants known as Dreamers.
Mr Trump told journalists at the White House that the agreement would include "massive border security".
The president said funding for his planned border wall was not part of the pact (spoke people riginally said it was part of the pact – shocker eh!)
Mr Trump spoke a day after talks with top Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer at the White House.
Hardline conservatives are enraged.
Only last week Mr Trump stunned fellow Republicans by making a budget deal with the Democrats.
Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!...(obviously not the transgender)
He almost makes sense with that tweet. I know he said he would get rid of DACA the first day in office
Normally I would ask mnottertail openly on the forums about stuff like this and he (one of the so few) would actually take the time and effort to explain political nuances to me, and anyone else who cared to ask valid points and questions. Like why does he need the support of the Democrats on DACA? I would have thought all hysterical snowflake Democrats would have supported it anyway and enough Republicans. So in essence he has no need to lie in bed with the Democrats on this matter unless I am missing something?
I believe he is making this deal to show pretend he cares, and an hour, or two later, (perhaps a few days later) he will start the process of trying to get rid of the 20 odd million illegal’s and boasting of his wall prowess. Someone like me views this as a twisted maneuver: overlooking the logistics, costs, of getting rid of 20 million souls.
Why not give everyone in America now Amnesty?
Getting rid of 6-10% of the population is madness itself.
