I find it interesting that lots of persons hesitate to share their photo.

Could a neighbor, co-worker, family member come across it?  Yes, if they are also visiting a kinky site.

I leave mine out because: 1) I am not seeking a relationship right now and -
2) I do volunteer work with abused and neglected unmentionables. Having a photo here could cost me that job, if it were seen by the wrong, vindictive person. Whether or not they are likely to be here, I don't want to risk it.

However, when I am seeking a partner (in a month or two), I will indicate I will include a photo on first e-mail contact. For the curious, I will say: I am 5'6" tall, approx. 120-125 pounds (it varies in that range), have very large, hazel-green eyes, and medium length (bottom of my neck) dark auburn hair.

I had quite a number of photos on my profile up until a few months ago.
I removed them when the one I'm with told me to.  Since I'm not looking
I feel it's not neccessary for pics.

I don't share my picture, because of my occupation. I meet a lot of people in my job, worldwide. After communication, with another, then I will share it.

I havent included mine, well, because I do not have any pics that A)dont include my kids B)arent *ahem* inappropriately taken by my husband while I was *ahem* a little busy? LOL I really need to get a normal, by myself pic to put up.

I tried to add a photo to my profile....the mods claimed "it contained genital nudity"...which it didn't. It was a pic of my legs in stockings (figured that would sort of give an idea what I was built like ...if nothing else). Anyways....I'm a biz owner..live in a small town,etc. And if anyone around here found out this guy likes to wear ladies undies once in awhile and was subminded...I'd be run out of the county.....LMAO! no shit!

Hi  all ! i haven't posted my picture because mine was rejected . i am hoping to borrow a digital camra at some point and try it again. The one i used was a pollaroid. Collarme may, be tougher on guys then with women. i have seen some that are not very clear. But in todays world there are many male sickos out there,... so if collarme is tougher on us guy s , so a picture leaves no dought for the safey of women,... then i'm all for it.

That is a very good point.
I will share my picture at first contact for privicy reasons - that way I have control over who sees me.

Very true, and my rationale whenever i have thought about showing my face. As in "if you saw it, then what were you doing there...mmmmm?". i have opted for not. i keep a current vanilla head shot to send privately as part of initial contact and that's all the identification anyone will get at that time. Despite the fact that "we" are far more mainstream now than 15 years ago, the closet still exists.

Personally, I dont care if anyone sees my pictures.  Face or not.  The only ones who know me that do not know what I am into at least somewhat are my parents.  Aside from the fact that I think I would up and DIE if I found out my parents ever visited a site like this... no one else would be the least bit surprised I was on here.
But then again, I happen to be lucky in not having to keep a secret about it. Most do have to worry about their professional standings.

If someone sees my pictures on here, the question remains what they were doing here.  However, chances are good I stand to lose more than they do, so I will take no chances.

alayna has been toying with taking slave's photo down.  Really don't care who knows what slave is (wish alayna could tell the world, really).  If Master said to take it down, alayna would.

I've included mine because I want people to see what I look like.
That pic is about 6 years old but the only thing that's changed on me is that my beard is a little bit grayer. I still have the Stetson too.
I'm retired so I really don't care who see's my picture.
I'm 6'0", 220 lbs, br hair, (balding) ice blue eyes, and in pretty good shape due to walking, biking and working out at a gym.
I just think it's fair for me to put my picture up so that people can have some idea as to my personna.

I use to post my picture but found that it created a bias, and the person that chose to c ommunicate with me was doing so on an physical image as opposed to the personality.  I share my picture following a few exchanges but not upfront for the above noted reason and a few others.  Not that i am hard to look at, cause I am not....... I just prefer when things remain in perspective initially.

Because for some reason whenever I have a picture up, the pointed ears and two horns protruding from my head seems to put some Dominants off...So now I just simply reel them in with my incredibly boring personality before hitting them with my unusual beauty....Tempting

i find it interesting that you don't have a profile or a photo :) (unless of course collarme decided to eat it.)

i did have up several photos, and i would happily share photos through messages, but as it states in my profile, because of His desire for privacy, i've taken down my photos. i would not want anyone we know finding my profile causing a strain between Him and His daughters, His work, or my current volunteering and future work (right now i'm self-employed so it really doesn't matter to me, but eventually i'd like to be heavily involved in academia and religious research).

so...i prefer to wait to message with people a few times before sending them photos. i don't have a huge screening process or anything silly like that :) and on my design website and myspace profile, as well as other (non-sexually-oriented) communities i'm a part of, i just choose not to post them here :)

but yeah, most of my clients are not exactly the most mainstream people in the world, and any future clients who find out about my kinkiness and are bothered by it are perfectly able to go find someone else. most of my family members and friends know about my kinkiness and don't care, or don't know and wouldn't care if they did. i'm at a space in my life right now where as far as my friends and family are concerned, if they don't like something about me or what i do (and i'm pretty open about my life - i don't shout things from the rooftops but i don't go to any length to hide), i really don't care. :)

The extreme right wing fundies in our area are very well known for going to the local strip clubs and taking photos of people coming out, and of their license plates, and posting them on a website for the purpose of shaming people into not supporting these types of businesses.  If you hadn't noticed, anyone can go to a profile with a picture on it, right-click on the picture, and save it to their harddrive...In essence, stealing it.  It wouldn't surprise me to learn that these same people I eluded to above troll the internet looking for pictures of people they may know, or people that list a certain area in their profile, to do the exact same thing.  That is not a risk that we're willing to take.  Though, as most others have said, we will share a picture when we're comfortable doing so.

As always, YMMV...

I have a few on mine, just ordinary pictures nothing overtly incrimaniting so if push comes to shove and someone I know sees them I can say someone took them from Myspace or whatever and then ask why they were on Collarme and have the upper hand. :p
