I believe that in any case where there is any doubt about police conduct there should be independent inquiries...and prosecutions... but when the verdicts come back they should be honored. In this case there were independent investigations... and they all came back as no reason for charges... then YEARS after the incident the prosecutor was pressured to bring charges. It was strictly political. Butch

Criminals are not stupid... they make sure they have a clean gun... the officers DNA was on the gun because according to police procedure he unloaded it and secured it. Remember he was going for the gun... he didn't get it. The read really is interesting and laid out in an orderly intelligent manner... People just have to read it before they make these irresponsible claims. Butch

It is simply amazing the lengths at which you will go to torture the story so that it comes out in favor of the police.

That is simply not true. I would say the exact same thing if a Black officer shot a black, white, Hispanic. From my point, the snippets (small part of the story) I have read about this one are damning. He pointed the gun at the officer? And yet none of his DNA was found on it? (Did I get that bit right about this case) The officer in question said he was going to kill him dead. He then shot him dead with 5 bullets. An argument like the officer’s car was rammed twice is not an argument, nor fear of life. Pointing a gun at an officer is a valid argument – the officer feared for his life (or others).

I dislike racism in any format. These are not isolated occurrences. And so is a bee, wasp, shit-fly, etc. ( I don't understand gravity or time, no-one does) I find your arguments to be non-compelling. And now you are clutching at straws. He did what he said he was going to do. He shot him dead. Shooting some one simply because you are angry with them, in the heat of the moment, is not good policing.
