Hello wonderful Dommes of collarspace.

I have been talking a lot with this Domme that I met online. We've met each other in real life a few times. She seems nice and we are compatible. She is interested in chastity, but doesn't recognize her control over the key. Like, if I ask can I have the key, she will give it to me, and that to me seems like it's fake.

So my first question is what are the guidelines that some of you other dommes have set up for release from chastity? Maybe if we just pre-establish some rules that's all we will need.

My second question is what if anything could I do to invoke the key holding responsibility in her?

Both of you need to sit down and discuss chastity. What each of you see in it, what about it turns you on, what could be done differently. I suspect she's only doing it for you, and that it's not a big thing for her.

Agreed. Expectations and negotiations are crucial. Keep in mind that some people's fantasies may crumble in the face of reality.

At present I'm looking forward to a coffee date with someone who owns a few chastity devices, but who only stays locked for a few hours at a time and expects some sort of orgasm by the end of the play session. Since it's open to ruined orgasms and other consequences, I'm fine with this.

If I was going to lock up someone long-term, like a live-in partner, I'd consider what I know of them, their moods and chastity tolerances, and their schedule. If I know that they're going to be meeting up with a difficult person or a situation where their chaste-behavior doesn't serve them well, I may set them loose, so to speak, shortly before that challenge - especially if I'm not going to be around for long enough to take the brunt of their non-chaste attitude.
