what setting people straight? I was merely stating what no one had said yet. While I do agree that the world needs a hard reboot, or just a collective boot in the ass, the particular jack ass that made this prediction is basing it on some obscure bogus science called 'Biblical Numerology' which, according to leading and respected Christians, does not exist, and is dependent on a mysterious planet that, if it does exist and is indeed heading for earth, has managed to do so in defiance of all laws of physics. Not to mention that is goes against even the words of Jesus, who said that no man will know the day of his return. So, basically, he falls under the category of 'false prophet. Now, I do believe that a false prophet could be stoned out side the city gates, not sure. Of course, he may have been stoned when he was coming up with this crap, which would explain a lot. Then add the fact that, when compared to the words of Christ, 99% of all Christian religious dogma is no where close to what the man said (if the statements attributed to him in the Bible is actually what he said) what is known as Christianity today is no where near the original church doctrine. There is a statement attributed to Sitting Bull, "If Christians believe in one book, then why do they all teach something different?" I dont care what denomination one claims to belong to, every freaking one of them preaches an agenda based on what they picked out of the bible to suit what they wanted to accomplish, believe or just so they could slide on some of the atrocities committed in the name of Christianity, from giving small pox contaminated blankets to Indians to the wholesale slaughter of entire villages of old men, women and children. Of course, that does not even mention the 'Crusades' against heretics by both protestants and Catholics, witch trials, massacres of settlers on the way to California (google mountain meadow massacre) and a few other wonderful things done by those of the faith. And of course, in the Modern United States we have Christian White Supremacists who preach the bible actually allows for the persecution of, enslavement, and denial of civil rights to non-white humans, while conveniently forgetting that Jesus was Jewish, of middle eastern origin and related at the genetic level to all those Muslims that need to be exterminated. Which is one of the reasons that whenever there is a multi denominational event in town, I attend wearing a t shirt that proudly proclaims, "Jesus, Save Me From Your Followers!"
