For now if men behave that way about a sex doll it's just fantasy, much like if a woman were to daydream about a relationship with some hot movie star. Fact is that both men and women have been simulating sex since the dawn of mankind. Women with phallic objects and men mostly with hands. In the end though if you aren't with an actual person its all just fantasy stimulation. It has only been recently that sex dolls have become more realistic. (And they are made in male form for women as well.) And I doubt many men would pay the high prices for one if they could find women who were willing to engage with them. It's my personal opinion that the rise of both feminism and lesbianism are factors in men turning to such dolls. Not their first choice, but possibly their only choice. Just look at how many female profiles on this site start right out with, "No Men!" I've been here a while and have yet to see a male profile that says, "No Women." It's truly an unequal world out there sexually. Sure, men who can't get a woman could always turn to other men, but a lot of them might not be comfortable with that. At least with a female looking doll they can maintain their self-image of being a straight guy. I think that women are concerned about modern sex dolls because they are on the verge of being realistic enough to replace women. The Japanese have a doll that was only recently announced that is pretty much an autonomous robot that looks very female, kind of a hot looking Osimo. It won't be too much longer before those will be improved to the point of being able to replace all the functions of a wife except procreation.
