If America were occupied by alien warriors who were immortal but their families were not, would you fight dirty and kill their women and children or would you sit quietly because there was no way to win by fighting fair?

Interesting analogy. Is Terrorism ever appropriate? I can't answer without knowing the conditions of the occupation. Are they going to set up a less flawed system of government and punish those who use power to murder, maim and rape etc or are they going to kill us all anyway?

Killing their families doesn't kill the immortal alien warriors, and I would imagine, would get rid of any chance of mercy from them, let alone peace in the future.

lets narrow this down to ridge avenue where i live. hell yeah. if my block was in danger i would do what is necessary. i mean my geographic physical block {that i could measure in real life}, and in real time. i had a whole diff view on 9-11 about rednecks where i live. the look in his eye was haunting but re-assurring.- and plans of my mechanic that day. seeing the courage and resolve on his face- which im not usually the fighter type- placed me in a whole new mode.... [4 hours to NYC] we are a petty bunch on this block- but if we faced a threat as such=- ild sooner be here then many places i have lived in the past. not everyone would have the same talents- but most would heed to the call. even if it is making up lemon-aid for the others.

ok- i missed the word imortal. im sorry i missed that. if this is s riddle- and we are referring to the age old question of isreal or not, i defer this thread. however- if my block was at risk- something i could see and measure for real. i would defend at all costs. does this make sense? ps- i do not wish to get into the mid east question. i just dont. --> my interest is a roof over my head, food, this type of thing. not a religious persuit.

Puella, It can and does work, which is why the Arabs are doing that to us. They can't put an army in the field and fight us head on, one of our many aircraft carriers could flatten the entire middle east without even having to use nukes and there is nothing they could do to stop us. America in this sense is immortal. They can however fly airplanes into our cities and attack us that way. Only knuckle dragging morons buy into the silly propaganda this is a struggle of civilizations. The entire ME when it was united and backed by Russia couldn't beat Israel, they are zero threat to the West. They want America and the West to stop overthrowing their elected governments, stop supporting and installing dictators, and let them govern themselves. Can't really blame them, we did the same thing. We violated so many laws of the day when we had our revolution but we forget that because America is really good at ignoring ugly truths.
